Beehive is the application form of EPI-CAL- It is the main data collection/sharing point of the California Learning Health Care Network for Early Psychosis programs.
Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale. An interviewer-rated measure of psychosis symptoms.
Clinical High Risk. Individuals who are considered to be at high risk for developing psychosis based on 2 of the 3: family history, sub-threshold symptoms, drop in functioning (role/social)

Duration of Untreated Psychosis. The period of time between onset of psychosis and when an individual receives treatment for psychosis.
EPI-NET National Data Coordinating Center. The center responsible for harmonizing and storing data from all EPI-NET regional hubs.

EPI-CAL is a statewide effort to create a Learning Health Care Network (LHCN) to improve Early Psychosis care across California.
Early Psychosis Intervention Network. The national network of EP centers, funded by NIH. EPI-CAL is one of several regional hubs as part of this network, and several aspects of the EPI-CAL study are funded by this NIH grant.
In Beehive, "Episode" refers to the period between a client's intake and discharge in an EP program.
An acronym for First Episode Psychosis.
An acronym for: End User License Agreement. EULAs lay out the rules regarding the use of a software. In Beehive's case, the EULA establishes how the app will be utilized in care, an acknowledgement that Beehive isn't a substitute for emergency services, and de-individualized data sharing agreements for research purposes.
An acronym for: Glasgow Antipsychotic Side-Effect Severity- A measure of medication side-effects.

One question from a “Quality of Life” measure. Authored by Lehman.
An acronym for: Learning Health Care Network. LHCNs are a network of healthcare facilities/systems that are able to share de-identified data amongst themselves at multiple different levels to better inform and shape practices.
LHCN, in the context of EPI-CAL, will often refer to the county funded aspect of this project. LHCN counties (LA, San Diego, Solano, Napa, Orange) provided the initial foundation for this project. Several aspects of the study (such as comparative county data) are only funded by LHCN money.

An acronym for: Questionnaire for the Process of Recovery—A recovery measure being used as part of this study.
In Beehive, a Support Network refers to the collection of individuals that the client has identified as support persons.
The browser based version of Beehive.
Browser-based survey links that are sent directly to clients and primary support persons. Allows for the completion of surveys without the presence of the client or PSP at the clinic.
