Internships with BEAPD-TOGO, it is often one, two, three, six months and even more, sharing experience in capacity building during which volunteers from all backgrounds work in an organization, institution, association, society, business,…. in Togo and the West African sub-region
BEAPD-TOGO courses are offered to all volunteers who are at least 17 years old with parental authorization and above, without parental authorization; without any distinction of sex, race, religion or political belief.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNSHIPS:
Protected the health of populations,

Promote grassroots and agricultural development,

Through these different specific objectives, BEAPD-TOGO is open to all proposals for successive objectives to contribute to the development of our country and to the mutual enrichment of trainee volunteers and our organization.
STRATEGY:
To achieve its multiple objectives, BEAPD-TOGO has created some specialized programs within it and works in collaboration with institutions specialized in the fields mentioned in the internship program. Thus, BEAPD-TOGO places some of its intern volunteers in institutions specialized in the chosen field.
ROLES OF VOLUNTEER TRAINEES:
A volunteer intern is expected for an internship with BEAPD-TOGO, first:
Reinforce its capacities,
Share with other volunteers their experiences and knowledge.
It should be noted that, all trainee volunteers also have knowledge to strengthen and / or share for the benefit of the beneficiary community.
Volunteers generally have training and career paths that allow them to train beneficiaries and gain practical knowledge.
Depending on the areas or themes that will be most familiar to you and which you would like to strengthen your capacities and experiences with that of Africa and in particular of Togo, BEAPD-TOGO will take care to do everything to ensure that your expectations are met. Necessary arrangements will be made and instructions will be given to you to help you work in the best conditions.
During your internships, you will very often be accompanied by members of BEAPD-TOGO as well as by external speakers or employees of the centers or institutions of your internships.
You will support the institutions or centers of your internships in the formalization and execution of their missions.
Your presence will also make it possible to reach a large number of beneficiaries and to support them in a particular way, because your presence will allow centers and / or institutions to establish a new schedule allowing volunteers to benefit from good level capacity building.
PROFILE OF TRAINEE VOLUNTEERS
It is not necessary to be, a trainer or a technician in the chosen field; but it is desirable that the trainee volunteers have at least the minimum of knowledge to share and to benefit the beneficiary community.

SUPPORTED :
During your internship, you will be taken care of by BEAPD-TOGO members who have become accustomed to receiving international volunteers.
• As soon as you arrive, you will be guided and guided so that you can take your bearings within a very short time.
• They will make you aware of the local culture and reality.
• They will accompany you for this purpose during all your stay.
• With regard to weekends and free hours, you are free to organize your schedule.
• The BEAPD-TOGO team and its partners will be pleased to refer you to the identified places of visit and will share with you useful knowledge.
SCHEDULE:
The activities will take place from Monday to Friday according to the working hours in force in Togo (in the morning from 7:30 to 12:00 and in the afternoon from 2:30 to 5:00).
However, the hours of certain centers or institutions are special.
So the schedule is defined according to the chosen area.

ACCOMMODATION:
The living conditions are "à la Togolaise". Accommodation is hard, very often in one of the host tenant or with a manager of the association The toilets and the shower are traditional, most often outside the room, water is rarely running but at the well . Electricity is present in Lomé.
You will be accommodated in the premises of BEAPD-TOGO or in the residential houses which will be made available to you. You will have a single room or for two. The houses are equipped with modern or traditional showers and toilets.
RESTORATION:
The restoration will be mainly Togolese. It should be noted that Togolese cuisine is among the best in West Africa.
The dishes are generally composed of a paste (corn, millet, cassava or plantain) accompanied by a sauce (peanut, spinach, crab, etc.)
As for drinking water, in Togo, there is pure water in sachets commonly called pure water. It is water in small 250 ml sachets and more common than bottled water.
TRANSPORT

You will be greeted by a member of BEAPD-TOGO who will be provided with their badge or membership card with a slate or ream paper on which your name will be written in large type. This will take you to your accommodation.
Transport during your internship:
During your internship, your trips will be by taxi (motorcycle or car).
CONDITIONS
The, the applicant (s) sends a note by Email clearly notifying their desire to participate in or in an internship, specifying the reason, area identified as well as a motivation letter and those at least 1 month before the desired start date of the internship .
Our study team studies the request and responds to it within 72 hours of receipt. She will notify by email to the latter whether or not her request has been accepted.
Once the request has been accepted and the intern has been notified, he is authorized to send us the internship agreement so that we can affix our stamp and signature if the latter is doing his internship as part of his studies at a University or School or other. After studying the file, we will quickly send the necessary documents to the latter for obtaining its TOGO visa at the TOGO Embassy near its locality.
As soon as your application is accepted, you should send us a CV and a motivation letter specifying concretely what you could and what you want to achieve during your internship. This will allow the BEAPD-TOGO technical team to know how to reach our partners to negotiate internships in a center or institution that meets your needs.
BEAPD-TOGO also takes care of sending you the documents necessary to obtain your visa (accommodation certificate, invitation letter), so make us the request.
It will be necessary to inform us of the date of your arrival so that we can organize your reception at the airport (whatever the time of arrival!) And guarantee you good accommodation.
The trainee must adapt to the lifestyle of the country and BEAPD-TOGO undertakes to facilitate its integration.
Similarly for work, the material conditions are very different, "adaptation" remains the watchword.
It will be advantageous and free for the trainee to bring tools that can allow him to work in peace (eg visual aids, computer equipment, etc.).
The intern agrees to respect the established mission and to follow a defined timetable.
The projects are carried out on a voluntary and voluntary basis. There is no possible funding from BEAPD-TOGO. To this end, trainees can try to obtain grants for humanitarian projects from their school, their town hall, their region, certain banks, contributions from young people and good volunteers. … Or any other organization that can help in a voluntary process.
FINANCIAL INVOLVEMENT OF PARTICIPATION
The costs of participating in a course with BEAPD-TOGO are paid as follows:
Registration fees: 50 Euros.
Living costs (paid) on site: 500 Euros per month.
NB: These costs are payable once you arrive in Lomé in a single installment depending on the number of months chosen by the volunteer.
REGISTRATION FEES INCLUDE (50 Euros):

Participation in the running costs of the organization (local, communication, staff, ...) the accommodation certificate and the invitation letter (certify at the Town Hall)

The various costs which are paid include the following services and therefore are also payable by BEAPD-TOGO:

BEAPD-TOGO undertakes to grant the volunteer all moral support and assistance throughout their stay.
