Our Field Training Division is one of the fundamental cores of our department, responsible for training new deputies and established deputies alike. This division also houses our Aerial Support Unit, a subdivision focused on law enforcement piloting and airborne operations.
The Major Crimes Division (formerly known as the Blaine County Detective Bureau) is the Sheriff's criminal investigations unit tasked with solving complex cases and providing forensic analysis.
The Special Response Team is the Sheriff's elite tactical unit. Registered as an NTOA Tier I SWAT unit, S.R.T. is provided world-class counterterrorism training to give them the upper hand during any high-risk crisis.
The Patrol Services Division provides extensions to deputies' everyday patrol operations, including: K-9 services, Motorbike Units, Specialized Vehicle Units, and AIR Unit operations.
The Street Enforcement Team is an elite, clandestine group of operators that are specially hand-selected to accomplish the most high-risk and daunting tasks given to the department.
