The first week of track can feel confusing — that’s normal!
Everyone is learning how practices and meets work.
Here are a few things that help:
Arrive ready to move right after school
Bring a water bottle every day
Eat a snack before practice
Expect to try multiple events
Ask questions — coaches are here to help
You do NOT need to be fast or experienced to do track.
Focus on learning, trying new things, and meeting teammates.
