The THUNDER STORM program is a combined effort between Black Canyon Middle School and Thunder Ridge High School Cheer. 

We are a 7th-12th grade cheer program with the goal of a seamless transition between one campus to the next. 

Our programs, together, are unified in shaping talented, disciplined, and confident cheerleaders and forging a winning team.  Head coaches April and Jess, along with their amazing coaching staff, are fully involved and invested in both teams and understand that success starts with a solid foundation. 

Our cheer program is dedicated in preparing you for the tumbling, dancing, and stunting skills required of a high school cheerleader. This is achieved by middle and high school coaches working closely together and discussing goals and expectations for each athlete. 

As a Thunder Storm cheerleader you are joining a program with built in friendships from middle to high school. A place where your success is celebrated by both coaching staffs and the cheerleaders within. We work to build lasting relationships by coming together for parades, retreats, performances, and competitions and rally each other on in every routine. 

The Thunder Storm Cheer program is supported and encouraged by the administration and athletic directors of both BCMS and TRHS.
