Thank you for your commitment!
As an OAT preceptor, you represent the BCCSU and are a vital resource in training new providers and improving care for people who use substances in BC. In addition to precepting according to provincial guidelines and instructing preceptees in evidence-based care, preceptors are expected to act in alignment with the BCCSU’s Vision, Mission and Values; conduct themselves in a kind and courteous manner that is free of stigma, discrimination and bias; and make ethically and clinically sound practice decisions.
Thank you for your commitment to educating future healthcare providers in the compassionate, effective care for people with substance use disorders. Your work makes a lasting impact.
We are here to support you and the learner every step of the way.
Sincerely,
The BCCSU Education and Clinical Activities Team
