In-class volunteers, cafeteria monitors, drop-off and pick-up supervision, mentoring, tutoring, media center assistance and other chores can be performed at the school site.
PTSP, Boosters, Advisory Council and other school sponsored or affiliated groups offer opportunities for your input in the decision making processes which impact school policies, functions and activities; as well as opportunities for hands-on involvement in school sponsored events and fundraisers.
Most parents find that they enjoy hands-on involvement in their child's education and are eager to meet the 20 hour volunteer requirement. Many of our parents volunteer hundreds of hours each year. This is a distinguishing factor in the education offered your child at Bay Haven schools and we regard parental involvement as one of the key factors in the success of our students.
Each family is required to volunteer no less than 20 HOURS per school year. It's the Bay Haven way and we know it sets our school above the rest! Don't forget to log your hours!
