THE MANUELA. ROXAS MONUMENT:

The Municipality of Roxas was named after former President Manuel A. Roxas. The monument is mounted at the Freedom Park. The Freedom Park is located at the heart of the municipality along the Maharlika National Highway. The life- sized monument is visible and ready to welcome visitors, travelers, and traders plying the Santiago City - Tuguegarao City route. 

It awakens our interest and makes us wanting to learn more about its history. Monument studies helps us students to develop history through observation. This activity increases interest in historic buildings and improves observation abilities. And studying this history is beneficial to us since we can share it with others who are interested in monuments like this.

Our Lady of La Salette Parish in Roxas:

Our Lady of La Salette Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ilagan was established on --. It is located in the Municipality of Roxas, Province of Isabela. The Parish Fiesta is celebrated every 19th day of September. Roxas was erected canonically in the status of a parish with Fr. Emery Des Rochers, MS as the first official parish priest. 

Our Lady of La Salette Parish in Roxas, Isabela was the only parish administered by the missionaries named after its Patroness, Our Lady of La Salette.

When we study Church history, we gain perspective on where we are today and how we might act as a link to the future. It grounds our identity and purpose in the wider tale, anchoring us firmly in God's plan of salvation.

Originally, gas lights were powered by a simple burner that produced light from the flame's yellow light. However, a new type of burner was devised in the 1820s, in which a controlled amount of air was added to the gas current. This created a high-temperature flame that was nonluminous and heated a noncombustible, refractive substance to a very high temperature. This turned into the source of light, with the output increasing with the material's temperature and the light's whiter color.
