Machine Control Studio project archive file are like zip files but are not. If you click on accept at the bottom of the window. A new window will open with a list of files. all of these files are part of the project archive file. To download it just click on the download button and save the file where you would like it. After you open it with Machine Control Studio you will see all of the blocks.
If your software is not the same rev as the project, then you will have to update the drive device.
Right click on the drive and select update device. Do the same thing if the MCI 210 module is not the same rev.
Now select the device you are updating to.
In the picture i'm selecting M700 but yours might be a M701 or M702 or Mci210.
click the update button and then close.
The last step is to do a build clean all. see picture below.
Also if you are using ladder logic or some other graphical format. I would periodically do a build clean all. This will help the graphical interface.
