Visiting Us

Who Can Visit

As a Universalist Church we welcome people of all religious and spiritual traditions (including no tradition). We are a certified Unitarian Universalist Welcoming Congregation which means we embrace people of all genders, cultural backgrounds, and social identities.

What To Expect

What to wear

There is no dress requirement; just come and be comfortable.

When you arrive

You will likely be greeted by a greeter, a staff person, or a minister. Orders of Service (our program) are available at the front.

Before the service

There is a guest book for visitors to sign if they so choose.

There is also a Joy and Sorrows table with a log book. People who would like to have their joy or sorrow expressed during the service can add their name and event to the book and it will be read during the service if it is personal and appropriate. Please write clearly.

Order of Service

Though no UU service is ever typical, the order of events we usually follow is:

After the service we usually go downstairs and share coffee and fellowship together.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The side entrance on the left side of the church leads to the Vestry and an elevator to the sanctuary.

How To Get Involved

Becoming A Member

You do not need to be a member in order to participate in any worship services or public activities. Membership does, however, support the ministries of the church and provides the member with priority for special services such as weddings, child dedications, and memorials as well as the ability to join committees and vote on congregational policy.

Requirements of membership:

New members are asked to join in a New Member ceremony during a regular church service.
