They moved through the Void. They watched, though any meaningful comparison between what they did and human sense impressions would be ridiculous. For our story we will say they watched and we will speak of their bodies.
They looked out and watched some more. They "saw" the Bright One and the Mother embraced and twined against each other, deeply penetrating each other in a lover's grip. She Who Waits covered them like a blanket as if to hide their indiscretions from the Void.
The Bright One moved inside the Mother and she sighed and shifted against him. He gripped her closer and they moved together. The Watchers eye kept going to the bed in which the Mother and the Bright One embraced- for they had made it. Woven of different thoughts, contrasting, scintillating and beautiful they watched as it danced and shimmered against the skin of the two lovers. They watched as the light and dark, threads unwinding and reforming, chased themselves across the bed and admired their handiwork. A thing of beauty. They both nodded, satisfied. It would last until the lovers were done. No element too strong, no unbinding too fast- a true work of artistry. An objet d'art in perfect balance.
They watched for something like a time, and then, satisfied, they left again.
