I'm a psychologist with a love for in-depth and somatic work. I help people move through long-standing issues and to allow unraveling at the root.
Schooled initially as a mainstream Psychologist, I spent a decade unlearning and rediscovering well-being from a conscious embodied and holistic perspective.
Going through burn-outs, chronic pain, fatigue, and anxiety I know what it means to suffer and to be trained by life itself towards a deeper understanding.
That is why I'm here to offer you a more efficient path as I once took for healing those issues that seem so difficult to change.
Nothing motivates me more than helping people liberate themselves deeply from the inside and rekindle the flame of their authentic self.
With the power of Presence we find the clarity to see, the compassion to heal and the courage to be who we truly are.
In 2008 I graduated in Neuropsychology expecting it would let me in on the great secrets of life, happiness, and consciousness. But instead of finding the depth I was looking for, I was weighed down by the demands and confinements of the academic world. Little did I know there was a true crisis on its way..
Still to this day, it is hard to describe what happened. Symptoms arose seemingly out of nowhere while I felt utterly frozen and unable to function at all. Strangely there was also a strong urge to review everything completely anew; What is essential? Who am I? What is true?
Most friends were naturally in a phase of building their lives up, but I seemed to be moving backward somehow - it took months until I could trust the course of this odd development.
This was the start of a journey that would take years and would bring me through many crisis points of healing emotional and physical symptoms. Issues that were teaching me to develop a completely new angle to healing...
Even though life was challenging I was generally able to work and travel again. I invested most of my time and energy in discovering new and unconventional ways of healing - exploring the nervous system, somatic and awareness practices at depth. Being drawn to unique teachers all over the world and modalities that showed how much was possible outside of the mainstream boundaries.
Gradually I started to trust the journey and even the symptoms - they kept revealing what was needed on a deeper level and often faded out soon after. I noticed there was no need to battle or control any of it. An increasing sense of Awareness became the main resource for a greater insight, healing physical and emotional pain and it brought a subtle sense of 'okayness' as the background of every challenge I had. Often this Awareness felt more real than the chaos of my inner world. I started to recognize it as a key factor in healing and well-being overlooked by many.
I spent the following ten years exploring the role of Awareness, which was like a loyal friend always there. Being drawn to Nonduality and Advaita teachers who spoke of this, I traveled to meet them. It was a joy to experience their ageless and liberated ways of being that were so unlike the seriousness in many other circles. At the same time, I worked as a psychologist. Still with no conventional career ambitions or ideas about the future, but with a continued deep interest in people. I found myself sensitized to their suffering and inner landscapes. I worked at prisons, a hospital, and elderly nursing homes – all places where people, just like me, were confronted with their vulnerability.
Later I started my private practice and worked exclusively from there. I witnessed the deepest transformation and healing coming from meeting the fragile aspects within. By weaving together different practices, I again and again saw the immense capacity of the body-mind to unwind itself from physical tensions and often even pain, traumatic imprints, fear and long-held emotional pain when a compassionate witness is there to guide. Seeing people soften on the inside, restoring their authentic selves I knew; THIS matters.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
I'm looking forward to meet you!
