The arts category recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity, and

achievement in areas such as visual arts, music, theater, dance, media, or literary arts. Inductees may

have excelled during their time at Ballard or gone on to significant accomplishments beyond graduation.

Athletics

The Athletics category honors athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made extraordinary

contributions to our athletic programs. This includes outstanding individual performance, championship

teams, coaching excellence, sportsmanship, and lifelong dedication to athletics. Inductees may have

excelled during their time at Ballard or gone on to significant accomplishments beyond graduation.

Academics

The Academics category celebrates those who have demonstrated exceptional scholarly achievement,

intellectual leadership, innovation, or service to education. Honorees may include distinguished alumni,

educators, or individuals whose academic pursuits have brought recognition to themselves and the

school.

How to Nominate a Candidate

Nominations for the Hall of Fame are open to alumni, staff, and community members. Anyone wishing

to nominate a candidate should complete the Hall of Fame Nomination Form. Nominees should

exemplify integrity, achievement, and a positive impact on the school and broader community.

Nomination deadline is Friday, February 27. A selection committee will review all submissions and

choose inductees based on established criteria.

Preserving Our Legacy

The ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 24 as a special event bringing together alumni,

students, staff, families, and community members to celebrate this year’s inductees. The evening will

include formal recognitions, brief biographies of each honoree, and reflections on their contributions

and legacy.

The Hall of Fame serves as a lasting tribute to the individuals who inspire current and future students to

pursue excellence in all areas of school life. We encourage everyone to participate by submitting

nominations, attending the ceremony, and celebrating the remarkable legacy of our school community.
