Entrance Renovation Project 2025

A Lasting Investment in Ballard

In the summer of 2025, the Ballard Alumni Association proudly completed one of its largest campus improvement projects to date—a major renovation of Ballard High School’s main entrance.

Made possible through the generosity of our alumni and supporters, along with the dedication of our Alumni Association Board, the project represented an investment of up to $300,000 in the future of our school.

The renovation included extensive sidewalk replacement and repairs, five new planter boxes with limestone-capped seat walls, updated landscaping, and a completely redesigned flagpole area featuring a new concrete apron, flagpole, flag, and surrounding landscaping.

The result is a more welcoming, functional, and beautiful entrance that reflects the pride our alumni community continues to have in Ballard.

Projects like this demonstrate what is possible when Bruins come together. The Ballard Alumni Association remains committed to investing in our school, supporting its students and preserving the legacy of Ballard for generations to come.
