In this fun and interactive course, students explore the exciting world of the Pokémon Trading Card Game while building critical/strategic thinking, literacy, and community-building. Through hands-on gameplay, students learn the basic rules, discover smart strategies for building decks, and use math concepts like addition, subtraction, and probability to improve their play. Along the way, they’ll also explore the cultural history of Pokémon and how the game has connected players around the world. The course wraps up with a final project: students create their own custom decks and participate in a friendly classroom tournament to show off their skills and creativity. (Concorde Education)
