Date Syrup

24 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped

2 cups water

2 tsp. vanilla


1 Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Cool.

2 Place mixture in a blender and puree until smooth and completely blended.

3 Store in refrigerator in an air-tight container. Stir the syrup before using.
