TERMS OF USE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Backgammon AI (“Application”), provided by PylypArt (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Backgammon AI, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.
Backgammon AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the Application, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Backgammon AI is a digital backgammon game that may include:
• offline gameplay;
• computer-controlled opponents;
• online multiplayer;
• player profiles and statistics;
• leaderboards;
• virtual coins;
• chat;
• advertising;
• rewarded advertising;
• Premium features;
• cloud-based functionality.
Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
3. LIMITED LICENSE
Subject to these Terms, PylypArt grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Backgammon AI for lawful personal entertainment purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, bypass security protections, or commercially exploit the Application except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.
4. USER PROFILE AND TECHNICAL ACCOUNT
Backgammon AI may automatically create an anonymous technical account or identifier through Firebase Authentication.
You may be able to choose a nickname and maintain a game profile associated with this identifier.
You are responsible for activity performed through your device and Application profile.
You must not impersonate another person, intentionally misrepresent your identity, or use a nickname designed to deceive, harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others.
5. ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
Online functionality requires an Internet connection.
Online matches may depend on cloud infrastructure, synchronization services, network quality, device availability, and third-party services.
Temporary connection failures, network interruptions, synchronization delays, service outages, or technical problems may affect online matches.
Where supported, Backgammon AI may attempt to preserve or recover confirmed online match state following temporary interruptions.
Each online match requires a stake of 250 virtual coins from each player. The winner receives the combined stake. Leaving or surrendering a match counts as a loss. If a connection is lost and the match cannot be resumed, the match may be counted as a loss and the stake may not be returned.
Online matches are played only against other players. Offline games are played against a computer-controlled (AI) opponent.
6. CHAT AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Backgammon AI may allow players to exchange text messages during online matches.
You are solely responsible for content that you submit through the Application.
You retain ownership of your original user-generated content, but grant PylypArt a limited, non-exclusive license to process, transmit, store, display, reproduce, and review that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, deliver the content to other users, maintain security, investigate abuse, enforce these Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
7. COMMUNITY AND CHAT RULES
You must not use Backgammon AI to create, send, publish, display, or promote content that:
• threatens, harasses, intimidates, or bullies another person;
• promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence;
• contains sexually explicit or exploitative material;
• exploits or endangers children;
• encourages self-harm or violence;
• contains illegal content;
• promotes criminal activity;
• contains malware, malicious links, scams, or phishing;
• contains spam or repeated unwanted messages;
• exposes another person’s private or personal information without permission;
• impersonates another person or organization;
• infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
• attempts to manipulate, disrupt, or abuse online gameplay or moderation systems;
• otherwise violates applicable law or these Terms.
PylypArt may investigate reported content and may take reasonable enforcement action where appropriate.
8. BLOCKING, REPORTING, AND MODERATION
Backgammon AI may provide tools allowing users to block or report other users or content.
Where such tools are available, users are encouraged to use them to manage unwanted interactions and report abusive behavior.
If an in-app reporting mechanism is unavailable or insufficient, users may contact:

Reports may include relevant message, match, room, user, and technical information required to investigate the issue.
PylypArt may review reports and may, where appropriate:
• restrict online functionality;
• remove or restrict content;
• block access to specific features;
• suspend or terminate access;
• take other reasonable measures to protect users or the service.
PylypArt does not guarantee that every message or interaction will be reviewed before it is delivered.
9. FAIR PLAY AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You must not:
• cheat or use unauthorized automation;
• manipulate network traffic or game state;
• exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage;
• tamper with Application files or backend communications;
• use modified or unauthorized clients;
• interfere with another user’s gameplay;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data;
• abuse rewarded advertising systems;
• manipulate purchases, Premium entitlements, rewards, or virtual coins;
• use bots, scripts, emulators, or automated systems for abusive purposes;
• intentionally overload, attack, or disrupt the service.
PylypArt may take technical or account-level measures to prevent or respond to such activity.
10. VIRTUAL COINS
Backgammon AI may provide virtual coins for use within the Application.
Virtual coins:
• have no cash value;
• are not legal currency;
• are not cryptocurrency;
• cannot be withdrawn;
• cannot be transferred to another user;
• cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or prizes;
• exist only within Backgammon AI.
Virtual coin balances may change through gameplay, rewards, Premium benefits, advertising-related rewards, corrections, anti-fraud actions, or other in-game mechanics.
PylypArt may correct a virtual coin balance where necessary to remedy technical errors, duplicate rewards, fraud, abuse, invalid transactions, or data corruption.
Virtual coins are not sold separately. The optional Premium purchase includes a one-time coin bonus. Using virtual coins as a match stake is a game mechanic only: no real money or real-world prize can be won or lost.
11. PREMIUM PURCHASE
Backgammon AI may offer an optional one-time Premium purchase through Google Play.
The purchase may provide benefits described in the Application at the time of purchase, which may include advertising-related benefits, Premium cosmetic content, virtual coins, or other Premium functionality.
Payments are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s terms and payment policies.
Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, and Google Play configuration.
Premium is linked to the Google Play account used for the purchase. Premium works on all your devices that use the same Google Play account. It can be activated for a new anonymous game account (for example, on a new device or after reinstalling the Application) up to 3 times within any 30-day period. Game accounts that already have Premium keep it. The one-time coin bonus is granted only once per purchase and is not granted again on restore.
If a transaction is refunded, revoked, cancelled, invalidated, or found to be fraudulent, Premium access and related benefits may be removed.
Refund eligibility is governed by Google Play policies and applicable law.
12. ADVERTISING AND REWARDED ADVERTISING
Backgammon AI may display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements.
Some optional rewards may require viewing an advertisement.
Availability of advertisements and rewards may depend on advertising inventory, Internet connectivity, consent status, geographic location, technical availability, and third-party advertising services.
Attempting to manipulate, automate, replay, falsify, or otherwise abuse advertising rewards is prohibited.
13. PRIVACY
Use of Backgammon AI is also governed by the Privacy Policy available at https://sites.google.com/view/backgammonai
The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Backgammon AI relies on third-party services, including services provided by Google and Firebase.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms, policies, and technical requirements.
PylypArt does not control every aspect of third-party infrastructure and cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party services.
15. INTERNET AND DEVICE RESPONSIBILITY
Some features require an active Internet connection.
You are responsible for:
• Internet or mobile data charges;
• roaming charges;
• maintaining a compatible device;
• maintaining sufficient battery power;
• keeping your device and operating system reasonably secure.
Backgammon AI may not function correctly on modified, rooted, compromised, unsupported, or incompatible devices.
16. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE APPLICATION
Backgammon AI may be updated from time to time.
Updates may:
• add features;
• modify features;
• remove features;
• correct defects;
• improve security;
• change technical requirements;
• modify online services.
Continued use may require installing an updated version of the Application.
17. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
PylypArt may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to online functionality or other services where reasonably necessary to:
• enforce these Terms;
• prevent fraud;
• protect users;
• prevent abuse;
• protect service security;
• respond to illegal activity;
• comply with legal obligations.
Where appropriate and technically possible, enforcement decisions may be based on available evidence, reports, technical information, or security signals.
18. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
You can delete your account and cloud data in the Application (Profile → Delete Account & Cloud Data) or by following the instructions at https://sites.google.com/view/backgammonai/delete-account
Deleting the Application or clearing local Application data does not delete cloud-stored information.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for transaction history, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Backgammon AI, including software, graphics, interface elements, designs, game assets, logos, trademarks, databases, and other original content provided by PylypArt, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license granted under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
20. FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, or bug reports, PylypArt may use that feedback to improve Backgammon AI without obligation to compensate you.
This does not grant PylypArt ownership of unrelated personal content you submit through chat or support channels.
21. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep Backgammon AI available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Application may be temporarily unavailable due to:
• maintenance;
• updates;
• network failures;
• cloud service outages;
• security incidents;
• third-party failures;
• circumstances outside our reasonable control.
22. DISCLAIMER
Backgammon AI is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the Application will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or free from all technical defects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PylypArt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from use of or inability to use Backgammon AI.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
24. APPLICABLE LAW AND USER RIGHTS
These Terms are subject to applicable law.
Mandatory consumer, privacy, or other legal rights available to you in your country of residence are not waived by these Terms.
25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms when the Application, services, legal requirements, community standards, or business practices change.
When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be updated.
Where required by law, material changes may be communicated through the Application or another appropriate method.
Continued use of Backgammon AI after an update may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
