COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

These Community Guidelines apply to the use of online multiplayer, chat, player profiles, nicknames, and other community-related features in Backgammon AI.

Backgammon AI is designed to provide fair, respectful, and enjoyable gameplay between players.

By using online and community features, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines together with the Backgammon AI Terms of Use.

1. RESPECT OTHER PLAYERS

Treat other players with respect.

Do not use Backgammon AI to threaten, harass, intimidate, bully, humiliate, or deliberately provoke another person.

Competitive gameplay, disagreement, or losing a match does not justify abusive behavior.

2. HATEFUL OR DISCRIMINATORY CONTENT

Do not create, send, display, or promote content that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or discriminates against a person or group based on characteristics such as:

• race;

• ethnicity;

• nationality;

• religion;

• sex;

• gender;

• sexual orientation;

• disability;

• age;

• other protected characteristics under applicable law.

Content promoting hatred, violence, or serious discrimination is prohibited.

3. THREATS AND VIOLENCE

Do not threaten physical harm, violence, or serious harm against another person.

Do not encourage, glorify, organize, or promote real-world violence or criminal activity.

Credible threats or serious safety concerns may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

4. SEXUAL AND EXPLOITATIVE CONTENT

Do not use Backgammon AI to send or promote:

• sexually explicit content;

• sexual exploitation;

• sexual harassment;

• non-consensual sexual content;

• sexually abusive content.

Any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or targets minors is strictly prohibited.

5. CHILD SAFETY

Backgammon AI is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children.

Users must not use the Application to:

• exploit or endanger minors;

• solicit sexual content from minors;

• share sexualized content involving minors;

• groom or attempt to groom minors;

• encourage dangerous or illegal behavior involving minors.

Serious child-safety concerns may be reported to relevant authorities where required or permitted by law.

6. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY

Do not publish, request, expose, or misuse another person’s private or sensitive information without permission.

This includes information such as:

• home address;

• phone number;

• private email address;

• passwords;

• payment information;

• government identification information;

• precise private location;

• other sensitive personal information.

Do not threaten to expose another person’s private information.

7. IMPERSONATION AND DECEPTION

Do not impersonate:

• another player;

• another person;

• PylypArt;

• Backgammon AI staff;

• Google;

• another company or organization.

Do not use a nickname, message, or profile in a way intended to fraudulently mislead other users about your identity or authority.

8. SPAM, SCAMS, AND MALICIOUS CONTENT

Do not use Backgammon AI to distribute:

• spam;

• repetitive unwanted messages;

• scams;

• phishing attempts;

• fraudulent offers;

• malicious links;

• malware;

• instructions intended to compromise another user’s device or account.

Do not attempt to obtain passwords, financial information, authentication credentials, or other sensitive information from another user.

9. ILLEGAL CONTENT AND ACTIVITY

Do not use Backgammon AI to promote, organize, request, or facilitate illegal activity.

Users are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to them.

10. FAIR PLAY

Backgammon AI is intended to provide fair competition.

Do not:

• cheat;

• manipulate game state;

• manipulate network traffic;

• use unauthorized automation;

• use modified or unauthorized clients;

• exploit software defects for unfair advantage;

• interfere with another player’s match;

• falsify gameplay results;

• manipulate matchmaking or online sessions;

• attempt unauthorized access to backend services;

• abuse security or integrity systems.

11. PURCHASES, PREMIUM, REWARDS, AND VIRTUAL COINS

Do not attempt to manipulate:

• Google Play purchases;

• Premium entitlements;

• refunds or revocations;

• rewarded advertising;

• reward limits;

• virtual coin balances;

• server-side economy operations.

Virtual coins have no real-world monetary value and must not be sold, transferred, exchanged, or represented as redeemable for real money, cryptocurrency, goods, or prizes.

12. CHAT CONDUCT

Chat is provided to support communication between players during online gameplay.

Do not use chat primarily to:

• harass another player;

• repeatedly insult or provoke another player;

• send unwanted repeated messages;

• advertise unrelated products or services;

• distribute prohibited content;

• coordinate fraud, cheating, or abuse;

• collect personal information from other users.

A disagreement about gameplay is not permission to abuse another player.

13. USERNAMES AND NICKNAMES

Nicknames must comply with these Community Guidelines.

Nicknames must not contain or promote:

• hate speech;

• threats;

• sexual exploitation;

• impersonation;

• scams;

• illegal content;

• personal information belonging to another person;

• abusive or deliberately harmful content.

PylypArt may restrict or require changes to a nickname that violates these rules.

14. REPORTING USERS OR CONTENT

If you encounter abusive, illegal, fraudulent, dangerous, or otherwise prohibited behavior, you may report it.

Where an in-app reporting feature is available, you should use it because it may provide technical information necessary to investigate the incident.

If an in-app reporting feature is unavailable or insufficient, contact:

When reporting an issue, provide only information reasonably necessary to investigate it.

Useful information may include:

• your Backgammon AI nickname;

• the other player’s nickname;

• approximate date and time;

• match or room information if available;

• the message or behavior being reported;

• screenshots where appropriate;

• a short explanation of the problem.

Do not submit knowingly false or misleading reports.

15. BLOCKING USERS

Where blocking functionality is available, you may use it to prevent or limit unwanted interaction with another user.

Users must not attempt to bypass another person’s block through alternate identities, devices, profiles, repeated invitations, or other methods.

16. MODERATION

PylypArt may review reports and other relevant information where reasonably necessary to:

• enforce these Community Guidelines;

• enforce the Terms of Use;

• prevent fraud or abuse;

• investigate safety issues;

• protect users;

• protect the Application and backend infrastructure;

• comply with legal obligations.

Moderation may rely on information such as:

• reported messages;

• user identifiers;

• nicknames;

• match or room identifiers;

• timestamps;

• technical and security information;

• relevant gameplay or service records.

17. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS

Depending on the seriousness, frequency, and circumstances of a violation, PylypArt may take reasonable measures including:

• issuing a warning;

• restricting chat;

• restricting online functionality;

• restricting access to specific features;

• changing or restricting an abusive nickname;

• removing or restricting content where technically possible;

• limiting access to rewards or economy features where abuse is involved;

• suspending access;

• terminating access to online services;

• taking technical anti-abuse measures.

Serious violations may result in immediate action.

18. FALSE REPORTS AND ABUSE OF MODERATION SYSTEMS

Do not intentionally submit false reports, mass-report users without legitimate reason, manipulate moderation tools, or use reports to harass another person.

Abuse of reporting or moderation systems may itself result in enforcement action.

19. NO GUARANTEE OF PRE-SCREENING

Backgammon AI does not guarantee that every chat message, nickname, or interaction will be reviewed before being shown to another user.

Users should use available reporting and blocking tools and contact PylypArt where necessary.

20. SAFETY AND EMERGENCIES

Backgammon AI and its reporting mechanisms are not emergency services.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service or competent authority.

21. PRIVACY

Information processed in connection with chat, reports, blocks, moderation, safety, security, or enforcement is handled according to the Backgammon AI Privacy Policy.

22. TERMS OF USE

These Community Guidelines form part of the rules governing use of Backgammon AI and should be read together with the Terms of Use published on the Backgammon AI legal site.

23. CHANGES TO THESE GUIDELINES

We may update these Community Guidelines when community features, moderation systems, legal requirements, safety practices, or the Application change.

The “Last updated” date will be updated when changes are made.
