This Privacy Policy explains how Backgammon AI (“Application”), provided by PylypArt (“we”, “us”, or “Service Provider”), collects, uses, stores, processes, and shares information when you use the Application.
Backgammon AI is a free-to-download mobile game with optional advertising and optional Premium features available through Google Play.
By using Backgammon AI, you acknowledge the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, the Application requests consent before certain processing, including advertising-related processing.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Backgammon AI may collect and process information necessary to provide gameplay, online multiplayer, cloud synchronization, virtual economy features, purchases, advertising, security, diagnostics, support, and application improvement.
2. ACCOUNT AND PROFILE INFORMATION
Backgammon AI uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous technical user identifier (UID).
The Application does not require you to create a traditional account using an email address or password.
The anonymous UID may be associated with information such as:
• your chosen player nickname;
• game profile information;
• virtual coin balance;
• gameplay statistics;
• leaderboard information;
• Premium entitlement status;
• reward status;
• game-related settings and cloud synchronization information.
This information may be stored in cloud services used by Backgammon AI.
3. GAMEPLAY AND ONLINE MULTIPLAYER DATA
When you use online multiplayer features, the Application may process information required to create, join, synchronize, maintain, recover, and complete online matches.
This information may include:
• anonymous user identifier;
• nickname;
• room or match identifier;
• game state;
• moves and actions;
• timestamps;
• match results;
• connection and synchronization status;
• virtual coin transactions related to gameplay;
• technical information required to operate online gameplay.
This information is used to provide online matches, synchronize game state, prevent fraud and abuse, recover interrupted sessions, and maintain game statistics.
4. CHAT AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Backgammon AI includes text chat between players during online matches.
When you send a chat message, the Application may process:
• the content of the message;
• your anonymous user identifier;
• your nickname;
• room or match identifier;
• message identifier;
• timestamp;
• technical metadata necessary to deliver and manage the message.
Chat messages are visible to the other participant in the relevant online match.
Chat messages and related metadata may be processed or retained where reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, enforce the Terms of Use and community rules, or comply with legal obligations.
Backgammon AI may provide tools that allow users to block or report users or content. Information submitted through reporting or moderation tools may be processed for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and enforcement purposes.

5. PURCHASES AND PREMIUM FEATURES
Backgammon AI offers optional Premium features through Google Play Billing.
Payments are processed by Google Play.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank account number, or other complete payment credentials.
To verify purchases, restore Premium access, prevent fraud, process refunds or revocations, and provide purchased benefits, Backgammon AI and its backend services may process information such as:
• Google Play product identifier;
• purchase token;
• purchase state;
• entitlement status;
• transaction-related identifiers;
• anonymous Application user identifier.
If a purchase is refunded, revoked, cancelled, invalidated, or determined to be fraudulent, related Premium access or associated benefits may be removed.
6. VIRTUAL COINS
Backgammon AI uses virtual coins as an in-game currency.
Virtual coins:
• have no real-world monetary value;
• cannot be withdrawn as real money;
• cannot be converted to cryptocurrency;
• cannot be transferred to another user;
• cannot be exchanged for cash, physical goods, or real-world prizes.
Virtual coins may be earned or used through gameplay, rewards, advertising-related rewards, Premium benefits, or other in-game mechanics.
No real money, cryptocurrency, or redeemable real-world prize is wagered or awarded through the virtual coin system.
7. ADVERTISING AND PRIVACY CHOICES
Backgammon AI may display advertising through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), including banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertising.
Google and its advertising technologies may process information such as:
• IP address;
• device or advertising identifiers;
• application interactions;
• advertising interactions;
• diagnostic information;
• device information;
• general or approximate location inferred from signals such as IP address.
Backgammon AI does not request precise GPS location for advertising.
Where required, Backgammon AI uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent and privacy choices.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be shown a consent message or privacy options relating to advertising and data processing.
8. ANALYTICS AND APPLICATION USAGE
Backgammon AI uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Application is used and to improve functionality, reliability, and user experience.
Analytics information may include:
• application interactions;
• feature usage;
• gameplay-related events;
• advertising-related events;
• session information;
• application version;
• device information;
• operating system information;
• technical and usage information.
Analytics is used to understand overall usage patterns, diagnose problems, evaluate features, and improve the Application.
9. CRASH REPORTS AND DIAGNOSTICS
Backgammon AI uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes, errors, and technical problems.
Crash and diagnostic information may include:
• crash stack traces;
• technical logs;
• application state;
• application version;
• device model;
• operating system information;
• installation identifiers;
• other diagnostic information required to identify and resolve software problems.
10. SECURITY, INTEGRITY, AND FRAUD PREVENTION
Backgammon AI uses security technologies, including Firebase App Check and Google Play integrity-related services.
These technologies help protect:
• the Application;
• backend services;
• online gameplay;
• advertising rewards;
• purchases;
• Premium entitlements;
• virtual economy;
• users and infrastructure.
Security services may process device, application, integrity, authentication, network, and security-related information.
This information may be used to detect unauthorized clients, automated misuse, fraud, abuse, cheating, manipulated purchases, reward abuse, and other security threats.
11. IP ADDRESS AND GENERAL LOCATION
Our services and third-party service providers may receive your Internet Protocol (IP) address when your device communicates with online services.
An IP address may provide an approximate or general indication of geographic location.
Backgammon AI does not request precise location permissions and does not intentionally collect precise GPS location.
12. DEVICE AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The Application and its service providers may process technical information such as:
• device model;
• operating system and version;
• application version;
• language or locale;
• network status;
• installation identifiers;
• advertising identifiers where permitted;
• other technical information required for compatibility, security, analytics, diagnostics, and advertising.
13. INFORMATION WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY REQUEST
Backgammon AI does not require access to your:
• contacts;
• microphone;
• camera;
• precise GPS location;
• health information;
• personal files;
in order to provide its core functionality.
The Application does not directly request your payment card or bank account details. Purchases are handled by Google Play.
14. SUPPORT AND PRIVACY COMMUNICATIONS
If you contact us for support, feedback, privacy requests, account or data deletion, moderation issues, abuse reports, or other assistance, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide.
This may include:
• your email address;
• message content;
• attachments;
• relevant technical information;
• information necessary to identify the Application profile related to your request.
We use this information only as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, provide support, investigate technical or safety issues, verify and process privacy or deletion requests, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
15. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use information described in this Privacy Policy to:
• operate and maintain Backgammon AI;
• provide offline and online gameplay;
• maintain player profiles, virtual balances, statistics, rewards, and Premium entitlements;
• synchronize and recover online matches;

• display and manage advertising;
• provide rewarded advertising;

• improve features and performance;

17. DATA SHARING
We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
Information may be processed or shared with service providers that operate infrastructure, authentication, cloud storage, analytics, advertising, purchase verification, security, crash reporting, and other functionality required by Backgammon AI.
Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to:
• comply with applicable law or legal process;
• protect the rights, safety, or security of users, PylypArt, or others;
• investigate fraud, abuse, cheating, or security incidents;
• enforce the Terms of Use or community rules;
• respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
18. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
Information may be retained where necessary to:
• provide the Application;
• maintain cloud profiles and online functionality;
• preserve legitimate game state;
• maintain transaction and entitlement records;
• prevent fraud;
• investigate abuse;
• resolve disputes;
• enforce agreements;
• comply with applicable legal obligations.
Purchase verification, fraud-prevention, security, and transaction-related records may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of purchases and the service.
Chat, online match, moderation, and related technical information may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to operate the relevant functionality, investigate reports or abuse, maintain service integrity, or resolve disputes.
19. DATA DELETION
You can delete your account and associated cloud data at any time:
- In the Application: open your Profile, tap "Delete Account & Cloud Data" and confirm.
- Without the Application: follow the instructions at https://sites.google.com/view/backgammonai/delete-account or email pylypart.kov@gmail.com.
Account deletion removes your cloud profile, nickname, virtual coin balance, statistics, leaderboard entry and online data linked to your account. Deletion requests sent by email are completed within 30 days.
The in-app "Reset Local Data" function, clearing Application data or uninstalling the Application removes information stored on your device only. It does not delete information stored in cloud services.
Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for:
- transaction records;
- fraud prevention;
- security;
- legal compliance;
- dispute resolution;
- enforcement;
- protection of the integrity of purchases or services.
Premium purchased through Google Play can be restored after account deletion, but the one-time 25,000-coin bonus is not granted again.
20. PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Where applicable, Backgammon AI provides privacy and consent options for advertising through Google User Messaging Platform.
You may also be able to reset or limit advertising identifiers through Android or Google account settings.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have legal rights relating to personal information, including rights to request:
• access;
• correction;
• deletion;
• restriction;
• objection;
• other rights provided by applicable law.

21. AGE REQUIREMENT AND CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Backgammon AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If we become aware that personal information of a person under 18 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

22. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Backgammon AI uses service providers whose systems may operate in multiple countries.
As a result, information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, subject to applicable data protection requirements and safeguards provided by the relevant service providers.
23. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through Backgammon AI.
Data transmitted between the Application and supported backend services is generally protected in transit using secure network protocols.
However, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
24. AUTOMATED GAMEPLAY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Backgammon AI includes automated computer-controlled gameplay and game logic, including an AI opponent.
Offline games are played against a computer-controlled (AI) opponent. Online matches are played only against other players; the Application does not replace online opponents with AI.
The presence of an AI-controlled opponent does not mean that personal information is used to train general-purpose or generative artificial intelligence models.
Information processed for gameplay, analytics, diagnostics, security, or other Application functionality is handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
25. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Application, services, legal requirements, or data practices change.
When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be updated.
Where required by law, we may provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
