What are scale degrees?
Scale degrees are the specific names given to each note in a scale depending on where it is in the scale.
The names of the scale degrees are the following:
1 - Tonic
2 - Supertonic
3 - Mediant
4 - Subdominant
5 - Dominant
6 - Submediant
7 - Leading Tone
8 - Tonic
