The Malacca Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum operates within a monopolistic competition market structure, characterized by offering differentiated products. Situated near several notable tourist attractions, including Stadthuys and Red Square, St. Paul's Hill and Church, A Famosa, and the Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum, the museum faces competition from other cultural and heritage institutions in the area. However, it holds a unique position by focusing specifically on Peranakan culture, distinguishing it from other museums. It is the only museum in Malacca dedicated to this cultural heritage, with the only other similar institution being the Pinang Peranakan Mansion in Malaysia.
Digital Exhibits: Digital Exhibits: Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum provides different languages of tour books (English, Chinese, French, Japanese) in digital book form that lower costs compared to traditional printed tour books.
