Arizona Art Education Association has the pleasure of presenting our annual Youth Art Month exhibit featuring student artwork from around the State of Arizona.
We had a successful Youth Art Month celebration at Western Spirit Museum in Scottsdale with over 250 visitors in attendance. We had a generous prize donation from Blick Art Materials and a great selection of student artwork to showcase. Many thanks to Wade Weber and the Western Spirit team for their generous hospitality. Kudos to our YAM Chair, Laura Namerow, for a successful event!
Greetings AAEA members,
It’s that time of year again! We are proud to announce that once again we are partnering with Western Spirit: Scottsdale Museum of the West to host our big Youth Art Month celebration in March!
The exhibit will run from Sunday, March 16 until Sunday March 30.
Our artist reception will be from 2-4pm on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
We encourage all AAEA members to submit 2D student artwork to be considered for inclusion in our art show! This year each teacher may submit two works of art total. There is no theme however we request no graphic images depicting blood, weapons or gore. Artwork should be no bigger than 16x20 (high school canvases are the exception).
To enter your student artwork you will need to fill out our YAM Registration form and upload a quality image of your student artwork by February 10, 2025. Teachers will be notified if their artworks were selected on or about February 14. An image of all submitted artwork will be included in a running slideshow during the reception.
Please note: Student artwork that is chosen will need a parent release form attached to the back of the artwork, and mailed to 4009 N. 14th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85013 by February 19th. If your student artwork is in the exhibit you will also need to include a self addressed stamped envelope for artwork return unless you are attending the artist reception at which time you can take your student artwork after the reception is over. Please do NOT deliver or send artwork to the museum.
Youth Art Month is one of the big highlights of the year for our organization! We look forward to viewing your submissions and seeing you on March 30 at the Western Spirit: Scottsdale Museum of the West!
