We had a successful Youth Art Month celebration at Western Spirit Museum in Scottsdale with over 250 visitors in attendance. We had a generous prize donation from Blick Art Materials and a great selection of student artwork to showcase. Many thanks to Wade Weber and the Western Spirit team for their generous hospitality. Kudos to our YAM Chair, Laura Namerow, for a successful event!

YAM Fest 2025
2025 Youth Arts Month Festival through the Arizona Department of Education will be hosting a public event that will feature performances and artwork by high school students across the state. YAM fest aims to highlight the positive impact of arts education, showcasing the creativity and skill of Arizona's young artists. In addition, there is potential for visits by state legislators, who will have the opportunity to witness first hand the remarkable talents and passion for our students. Public, private, and charter school staff are encouraged to submit a visual art piece or performance ensemble to be featured at the festival.
Submissions must be made by school personnel on behalf of student artist or performers in only grades 9-12.
Please visit ADE Yam Fest website for submission requirements and timeline.
