Past life of Vincent. Only appears in Edwards InnerWorld. Can only be seen by Vincent & Emma outside of the InnerWorld. Reading Vincent's page is necessary for you to understand Lu's biography.

In contrast to his current vessel, Vincent, Lu is a lot more lively and acts very dramatically, as though performing before an audience, with exaggerated emotions and expressions. While Vincent is avoidant, Lu is in constant need of attention. He will stop at almost nothing to get any eyes on him for whatever reason, be it positive OR negative attention. Of course, he still tries to stick to his morals but his moral compass is like a roulette wheel when he's being ignored. Even going as far as hurting himself, therefore hurting Vincent along the way. He constantly nags Vincent to do something outrageous, Vincent being the opposite of Lu, always refuses and stays in the background. This pushes Lu to go to extreme means to get Vince to do as he says. If he could, he would get attention by himself but unfortunately, he's a ghost only able to be seen by a few. So instead, he forcefully takes control of Vincent from time to time. People notice this sudden change in personality and are often confused. The people who know him just assume he's putting on an act, it is known acting is one of Vincent's hobbies after all. Lu is not happy about being apart from his body but allows it since he enjoys the attention he gets when he allows other souls to be on stage in place of him. Regardless of him being apart from Vincent's vessel his personality still affects him in some ways, given that Vincent is a people-pleaser who constantly seeks reassurance or approval. Furthermore, he tends to dress rather eye-catching later on in his life which is how Lu would've dressed if he could afford it. And Lu has a low tolerance for frustration and is easily bored by routine, often beginning projects without finishing them or skipping from one event to another just like Vincent.

How he died and the life he lived is very unclear and he refuses to talk about it unless pressured by Emma. He talks very vaguely about it leading to confusion... It is heavily hinted that his death was caused by "Calamity" in some way.

Lu is puzzled by the differences between his own mother and Vincents mother. "She looks like my own mom but with papas personality, I don't get it. But I think I like it!" as he puts it. He treats her the same way as Vincent does yet he seems to have something against Vincent's father for unknown reasons.

Lu seems to creep out Edward, seeing his best friend with a completely different personality than what he's used to is terrifyingly unusual to Edd. Lu doesn't take this well and makes many efforts to change Edds mind, all of which has failed. Lu's not too frustrated as long as he gets a form of attention from Edward regardless. On the other hand, Jacob is very interested in Lu and is Lu's second-biggest source of attention besides Vincents "fans". They tend to get along very well, given that they're both ghosts and Jack is willing to listen to Lu's rants about being one. Seeing someone that looks exactly like Vincent act in such a different way is also very entertaining in Jacob's eyes.

He seems to get along well with the ghosts of the OverWrought Cast as well, just like Vincent.
