Simple Introduction

Incredibly timid fella. The "quiet kid in the back of the class". Very much of a loner. Interested in true crime...Just reading about it, not committing it. Even if he likes reading such things, it still instils fear in him that he shouldn't trust a single soul. The only people he trusts are people related to solving such cases which explains why he's so keen on his brother Jacob who is a high ranking police officer. He's more so a friend of plants than humans due to him being very afraid of people. Edwards best friend is Vincent, some would say he behaves like a plant, it's no wonder why they get along.

Detailed Information

Edward is an excessive daydreamer and is very imaginative. We see the story through his eyes, we see the inside of his head, therefore everything is adjusted to his beliefs and his views. Like we're children playing pretend with him. Edward being quite young during the events, we see things through a clueless and pure perspective. For example, Jacob is portrayed as more heroic and strong than he actually is, Edward is less of an outcast in that world and Vincent is the artistic genius Edward believes that he is. People Edward is afraid of or is uninterested in may be shown as greyed out silhouettes. As things progress, the influences of real-life tragedies start leaking through into Edwards little dreamland...

After an accident, Ed was put to sleep for a long period of time. During this, he experienced a semi-lucid dream in the world he created in his head beforehand. Everything was the way he wanted but soon he realises something isn't quite right. Turns out the ghost of his brother who died in the same accident was trying to contact him in his sleep like a few other supernatural beings that are related to his other friends. He brushes it off as it is an influence of the true-crime novels he's read but sooner or later he'll have to wake up and face reality.
