Stigma 

In 2024, AVzounds went to Hartlepool to do a music project with ex-addicts as part of Recovery Month.  We asked project members to tell us their stories which were recorded then set to music and the results were inspriring. What some of the project members had been through in a couple of months was more than most of us would ever experience. Despite this, their overall message was one of hope, that it is possible to  get out of that life and that there is help out there for even the most desperate. It was a privilege to hear them share their stories.
