My name is Austen Henry-Biskup, I am a designer, a maker, and an all around repair man with a deconstructive mind. I am a very hardworking, dependable and professional person who values craftsmanship, passion, respect and punctuality above all things. Everyday I fill my life with creative projects that please me and create thought provoking, inspiring, and enjoyable experiences for other people. I come from a unique background of extensive hand work in wood, metal, plastic, and fabrics. My greatest strength is my overall understanding of designing and fabricating physical components that interact in assemblies or kinetic mechanisms. I wholeheartedly embrace challenges that require me to learn new tools expanding my vocabulary of design and fabrication pertaining to the project at hand. I have a dream to formulate my professional career on all sorts of interesting and innovative projects that better the lives of as many people as possible with sustainability in mind. I hold myself to an extremely high standard in every project that I pursue so that I can improve my craftsmanship and create high quality work. When tasked with design projects, I seek to create objects that display the natural relationship of form and function with an emphasis on functionality. I am eagerly seeking any Internships or working positions that come my way, I greatly appreciate your consideration.
