Repair Cafés are free events inviting community members to bring in items that are broken or no longer work to be repaired. Volunteer coaches guide item owners through assessing and learning how to repair their items for a second chance.
Founded in Amsterdam in 2009, there are 3,500+ Repair Cafe’s globally.
1
Sign up for a 30 min appointment to work with a volunteer coach and tell us what is broken.
Walk-ins are welcome, but may have a longer wait.
2
On the day, bring in the item or your questions at the scheduled appointment.
3
We’ll match you with a volunteer coach to assess and guide you through the repair.
We are ready to repair counter top appliances, lamps, fans, coffee makers, clothes in need of mending, etc.
We are NOT ready to repair furniture, weapons, large appliances, clothes in need of tailoring, etc.
Consultation is available for items you can’t bring, volunteer Repair Coaches can offer suggestions and guidance for you to try.
~~ Registration for appointments will open in early April ~~
