What is the Repair Café Foundation?
Founded in 2009, the Repair Café Foundation was founded in Amsterdam by Martine Postma. has the following goals:
Bring back repairing into local society in a modern way
Maintain repair expertise and to spread this knowledge
Promote social cohesion in the local community by connecting neighbors from very different backgrounds and with different motives with each other through an inspiring and low-key event.
There are now 3,500+ Repair Cafe’s globally
