Augusta Community Sailing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Every summer, sail camp runs on Sunfish. A full fleet on the water at once, with kids learning to steer, to capsize and recover, to come back in grinning and soaked. Through the rest of the season, they're the boats anyone in our sailing community can rig up and take out on a good afternoon.
Our Sunfish have aged past the point where they can carry that load. We're raising $20,000 to put ten new boats in the water for the spring 2027 season. ACS is debt-free and community-funded, and we intend to stay that way: these boats get bought when they're paid for.
Want to support a specific program? The High School Sailing fund buys and maintains boats, sails, and team gear for our SAISA North high school team.

Augusta Community Sailing gratefully accepts donated boats in good operational condition.
We especially need Club 420s for our high school team, a keelboat suitable for training, and powerboats that can serve as coach boats. Boats that fit our programs go straight into use in our learn-to-sail, youth, and community programs.
If a boat is in solid working order but doesn't fit our current fleet, we may sell it and use the proceeds to support our programs and maintain our existing boats. We share this up front so you know exactly how your gift will be used.
We are unable to accept project boats that need repair or restoration.
