ACS Board Directors

Augusta Community Sailing is governed by a volunteer board made up of sailors, educators, community leaders, and parents committed to safe, inclusive access to boating and sailing.

President

Daniel Fodera

US Sailing Level 3 instructor, past Commodore of Augusta Sailing Club, and retired U.S. Navy veteran. Daniel brings decades of sailing instruction, leadership, and safety experience to ACS.

Vice President

Jaime Putnam

Active in the Augusta sailing community since 2006. A longtime Augusta Sailing Club member and sailing parent, she supports junior sailing, regattas, and community engagement across the region.

Secretary/Treasurer

Ellen Smalley

Nonprofit bookkeeper and former office manager with experience in financial management and grant administration. Ellen supports ACS operations and compliance.

Founding Directors

Kimberly Bagnoni

A past Commodore of the Augusta Sailing Club and a founding leader of Augusta Community Sailing. She currently co-leads the ACS high school sailing program and brings extensive experience in youth instruction, program development, and sailing safety.

Tony D. Coy

Tony Coy served as the first President of Augusta Community Sailing. A former Commodore of the Augusta Sailing Club, he brings extensive nonprofit governance and legal experience, including service on financial review committees.

Dan Bagnoni

A former President of Augusta Community Sailing. He currently co-leads the ACS high school sailing program, supporting athlete development, coaching, and regional competition.
