I'm a firm believer that curiosity is a superpower. I have found that it fuels me, that I'm motivated by this genuine desire to learn. I like to believe that I get it from my father, though it’s also a quirk of my particular brand of neurodivergence (another superpower!).
I grew up working alongside him, taking on everything from installing new roofs on houses to full car engine rebuilds. I picked up the classic bits of wisdom, that you measure twice and cut once, and that the best way to learn is by doing.
We successfully completed a Bob Ross painting class at his original PBS recording studio. Only a few tears were shed.

Did I spend a period of time running a candle review blog? Yes. It was called, "May The Force Be Wick You," and it was absolutely ahead of its time. I reviewed indie candle brands from the perspective of a storm trooper. The helmet also helped to conceal my true identity, as this entire concept is mildly embarassing.
