Hey, I’m Ashmi! I discovered Brat in 2018 but I made a Fanpage for them in 2019 and after a year I turned it into a fanpage for Riley, Mads and Indiana. Watching Brat has helped me through so much, I have become so proud of who I am and I don't try to hide myself anymore :) I am so thankful for every friend I have made in the fandom <3

I discovered the Brat Universe back in 2017, when I came across the Chicken Girls, Season 1 TRAILER! I love Brat TV because they always have little Easter Eggs hidden in anything you watch to do with the fandom. The Brat Fandom and Universe will always hold a special place in my heart!💜
Hey guys I'm Rebecca! I made my account on August 23rd 2020 because I was bored in quarantine. I'm so glad I did because I have made some amazing friends in the fandom. When I started watching Chicken Girls, I loved how relatable it is, especially Stooney *wink, wink* I have learned so much from the show about being myself and embracing all of the things that make me unique. Thanks to Brat and the Chicken Girls cast for an amazing show!! 🧡
Hii!! I'm Makena and I am 13 years old :) I am an Indiana Massara fanpage and I discovered Brat in 2017. I first found out about the show "Attaway Appeal". I loved it so much, and not too long later, Chicken Girls came out and I was so excited. After each season I was so excited for the next. I started this page on March 15th 2020, and I think that was one of my favourite decisions that I have ever made. On my page, I make photo and video edits and post regular Indiana updates for fun. I will always support Indiana and I am so so happy in the Indicator fandom. I am so glad I joined! ❤️
Hi, I’m Bri! I’m a chicken girls fanpage but mainly for Indiana. I discovered chicken girls over the summer of 2020 and have been obsessed ever since. I started my fanpage on Nov 8, 2020 and I’m so glad I did! I had the chance to support Indiana and make new friends ❤️ I really wanted to start a fanpage because I love editing but I never knew what to make a fanpage for until I became an indicator. My favorite ship is stooney of course, but anyways I’m so glad I started watching Chicken Girls, and being able to collab with many talented fanpages! :)

Fun fact: I am writing this in school because I have nothing better to do haha! Anyway, enjoy these paragraphs of the making of the Appeal Website.
All of us owned a Chicken girls/Indiana/Brat fan page on Instagram, and we were all bored as heck during quarantine, so we came up with the idea to create a website to pass some time! It wasn't just because we were bored, we wanted to connect with each other a little more, and make friends for life too!
We didn't realize how long it would take us, but it was definitely worth it, and we hope you enjoy everything on it! So honestly, never thought this would be said but, thank you to quarantine otherwise this website never would have existed, and we would all never become as close as we are now.
We started working on it about November time, but took a break over the Christmas holidays and started working again after new years.
We initially planned to publish this website on the 31st January 2021, however, we realized the majority of the pages were completed, so decided to release it on the 20th instead! We also messaged Marhy on Instagram, with some questions for the site, (linked), and to our surprise, she went out of her way and took her time to answer them. The Appeal team appreciates it so much!
In the making of this, we all became so much more closer as friends. At first, we were just known as "another fan page" to each other. Through this creation, we have all created a stronger bond and watched our accounts grow, which has been amazing!
I think I can speak for the whole team when I say that this was the best part about creating this website.
In addition to this, we had a group chat with everyone on it, and a running thing that still happens to this day is "time check!". We are all from different parts of the world, therefore the timezones are different, so not all of us would be on here at the same time. It was always fun knowing what the time is for someone else; it could be pitch black midnight for you, but someone else could be having their lunch!

Something I discovered this year through quarantine is the limitlessness of creation, and drawing inspiration from the creations around you. When a piece of work is put out into the world, you have the privilege of making your own, but few people take advantage of that opportunity. People will often consume the show, movie, song, or whatever it may be, and stop there. It may spark a feeling or an idea but they don't act upon those sparks.
The creators of the site and I wanted to change that. We wanted to take a piece of media that we all enjoy and relate to in some way, and make it our own. This website is a mix of content from Brat, the actors of Chicken Girls, and our own spin on what has been released into the world. The idea for this project started very small, as just a page of Attaway Appeal stories but it quickly turned into so much more. Every time we thought about another aspect of the show we liked, we added more. First the Hey Harmony page, then Rooney's photos, then the arcade with games made by us. I had such a great time working on this website from start to finish and I can honestly say I haven't put this much time into a non-school related project in a while.
I guess my point for saying all of this is to encourage other people to create. Whether you are starting from scratch or putting your own spin on work that speaks to you, the world needs it.
