Wrongful Suspension for Robby Robbins? - (October)
Robby Robbins has been suspended for vandalizing the “Attaway Armadillos” banner during the Pep Rally. Inside sources say he may have been falsely accused.
We interviewed the source who went on to say that they know who the real culprit is, and encourages the guilty party to come forward before they are turned in to Principal Mathers.
Will the true vandal accept responsibility for their actions and confess? Or will Robby continue to take the fall?

New "B" on Attaway's A Squad- (November)
Ellie Mack has been a loyal member of Attaway's famous friend group, the Chicken Girls, for as long as we can remember. Lately, she’s been seen hanging with another girl squad, the B’s. Comprised mainly of Attaway High dance team members, the B's are one of the most popular groups in school. We interviewed Rhyme McAdams of the Chicken Girls who claims that Ellie has changed her name to Brooke! “She dresses differently now,” says Rhyme, “She’s even starting to talk differently. I'm not sure if I like it.”

Fallen Soldier - (December)
The image below was captured on the Attaway General's CCTV system and shows the Chicken Girls in the waiting room after hearing about Birdie's incident.
Attaway High's Birdie Kaye disappeared two months ago after being suspended for vandalizing school property. Tonight she resurfaced in Attaway after being involved in a car collision. Her boyfriend Spike is rumored to have been driving but is nowhere to be found.
Birdie is in critical condition at Attaway General where she will likely be for a few weeks.
It is also reported that T.K. is back from Texas to be with his family during this time. How long he will be staying is unknown.
Attaway High wishes you the best, Birdie! Get well soon, and have a speedy recovery!

SUP- The Hottest App - (January)
Business inquiries should be directed to Ace@Supinc.com or SUP Industries.
Attaway's own Ace and Flash are taking the town by storm with their new app "SUP", where users can send a 'sup to their friends. According to Ace, he "found a template online, whipped something together and, now we got SUP!" Despite backlash from the principal and a schoolwide ban on the app, the dynamic duo managed to come out on top when an investor showed their interest at the winter formal. Ace moved to San Fransisco to develop the app and is now, according to Rhyme McAdams, is "an internet millionaire". At just 99 cents per download, be sure to check out their app to experience the hottest online trend started in our very own Attaway!
Home Economics- Useful or Outdated? - (March)
When students in Mrs. Wesell's Home Economics class demonstrated their frustrations with the curriculum, Rhyme McAdams became the head of a school-wide movement. Starting with her front-page article in the Appeal, word spread quickly about the discontent amongst students and a petition was created to change the sexist and old fashioned curriculum of the class. Transfer student Ezra Grant countered McAdams' article with an opinion of his own. He claimed that "the feminist movement has gone too far and without stay-at-home moms, the nuclear family would collapse"
The image to the right depicts Luna, Stephanie, and Rhyme in the library during study hall campaigning for their movement. Ellie is also involved and made an announcement over the PA system to draw support.
The Stench - (April)
The source of a mysterious stench in the hallways of Attaway High has finally been identified! Last semester, two freshmen boys used a hidden corner of the school to create “Sup” a popular app until it was shut down by Principal Mathers. Unfortunately, they ate a lot of food in their hideout, and the garbage was never cleaned out. The room was next to the air vents, so the smell of the stale food was constantly pumped through the school.
This is a valuable lesson to the whole school to clean up after themselves so this doesn't happen again!
Robin Robbins Scandal - (May)
THIS JUST IN- Famous music producer Robin Robbins was part of the original, 1985 Chicken Girls who are known for the popular song "Fly So High". At the time, they were a singing group called the “The Featherettes”.
Robin Robbins, actually named Roberta Roach, claimed the song as her own to jumpstart her own production career. She moved to LA and continued to exploit bands throughout the early‘90s. The other members of the Featherettes were tricked into signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement form so they were not legally allowed to discuss the scandal. The Appeal research team and the Chicken Girls began to dig up the story and threatened to publish it, exposing Roach. They were met with a roadblock when Roach informed them of the NDA but were able to get around it when the team learned that Robin Robbins’ former business partner, Damien, didn’t sign anything, and was willing to expose her. The complete story was published earlier this week and spread like wildfire as one of the biggest stories to ever come across the Attaway Appeal news desk!
Thank you to Damien and the Featherettes for their help in cracking the case!
