Back for the second year in a row!
Young girls need female role models if we want to close the gender gap in science and engineering. This event is a chance for middle-school girls to meet face-to-face with real women in science, ask questions about their careers, and imagine themselves as scientists, too. Together, we’ll build a circuit and play games to encourage discussion. Parents will learn about how to nurture their daughter’s love of science and help them succeed. And there will be ice cream!
When: Saturday, March 7th, 2020, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: Little Five Points Community Center Cafe (1083 Austin Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30307)
Limited parking is available in the L5PCC lots and there is ample street parking nearby.
Cost is $10/family. Make sure to purchase your ticket in advance! We expect to sell out. Chaperones need not purchase a ticket for themselves -- just for their children. Please arrive on time. This is not an open house event.
