MISSIONS OF ATES

The Association of Teachers of English in Senegal (ATES) has the following missions:

§ To contribute to the development of English Language Teaching in Senegal

§ To foster collaboration and exchange between English teachers in Senegal

§ To promote relationship of fraternity, mutual understanding and cooperation between the English teachers in Senegal,

§ To offer continued Professional Development and capacity building to English teachers in Senegal,

§ To participate in the revision of national syllabi for of English teaching in Senegal,

§ To establish partnership with similar associations in Africa and beyond.
