The ELD is a one-day event held in March in Dakar with the same partners to celebrate the English language. It starts with an opening ceremony followed by a Keynote speech and workshops. The ELD is an occasion to celebrate the nominated English teacher of the year and other retired teachers who are pioneers in ELT.
