ATELIER@20

Atelier is becoming 20 on January 14, 2024. We, consciously, use the word “becoming” as we feel with Atelier, our journey of “being” reaches a closure of “becoming”, bit by bit, with challenges, failure and a few achievements. A senior theatre practitioner aptly pointed out that practising theatre per se is an act of revolution and we take pride in becoming a part of this revolution: big, small or whatever… with the vision of inclusivity and the mission of sustainability, we walked the path, we slogged, struggled, survived and thriving. At present, Atelier runs its office and studio from Greater Noida.

At 10, for Atelier and for larger creative community, we imagined a residential space for artists in the hills – led to Meraki Creative Residency at Chail, Himachal Pradesh. The space is ready and functional with 12 rooms, a conference/rehearsals space and a functional kitchen. An amphitheatre is coming up.

At 20, we reiterate our commitment to enrich social and cultural landscape with Atelier Repertory’s productions; the multi-city campus theatre festival, ACT; creating/curating New Delhi Fringe (December, 2024); & last but not the least, create a Corpus Fund to strengthen our team and work for future.
