Mars

4x enlargement of 100px wide the Planet of War. RGB, UV/IR filter not used. My old Meade 8" SCT did a sterling job on this occasion. I took 100k+ frames in total using Firecapture as Mars approached zenith. This image is 30% of 5000 processed using AstroSurface NOVA.

Venus

Full size and 4x enlargement of the Planet of Lurve. RGB, UV/IR filter so not much you could call real detail. PlanetarySystemStacker did most of the work and Registax was used to align the RGB pixels as PST doesn't do that. GIMP was used just to create the composite image.
