Sonia Desai - Chairman
Hi! My name is Sonia Desai and I will be serving as the Chairman for the 2024-2025 Assisteens year. I have been an active member of Assisteens since 7th grade and have greatly enjoyed my time serving our community and making a difference. I am currently a junior at Canyon High School and am on the tennis team and involved in many clubs such as HOSA, CSF, and NHS, including being the president of American Heart Association. Apart from school, I am an active member in Girl Scouts. Some hobbies of mine are traveling, baking/cooking, and hanging out with friends and family. I look forward to having a great year with the Assisteens of Anaheim!
Saurin Mody - 1st VP Membership
Hi, my name is Saurin Mody and I will be serving as the VP of Membership this year in Assistenns. I have been part of this organization for four years and have really enjoyed actively participating in helping our community. I am a rising junior at Portola High School and I am involved in my schools tennis, mock trial, and ethics bowl teams. I also enjoy playing sports and spending time with my family. I look forward to serving on the board for another amazing year of Assisteens.
Sienna Shah - 2nd VP Philanthropy
Hi! My name is Sienna Shah and I will be serving as the VP of Philanthropy for the 2024-2025 Assisteens year. I have been an active member of Assisteens since 7th grade and have developed a passion in helping others and community service. I am a senior at Sunny Hills High School and am a part of Speech and Debate and the Conservatory of Fine Arts. Outside of school, I am a part of Girl Scouts of America and run an organization known as Reading for Kidz. I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to having a great year with the Assisteens of Anaheim!
Kayaan Savalia - Treasurer
Hi! My name is Kaayan Savalia, and I will be a senior at Yorba Linda High School. I have been a part of the Assisteens for 5 years, and I have volunteered at the Yorba Linda Public Library for 5 years outside of Assisteens. This year, I will be the Treasurer. At school, I am a part of Cross Country and Track. My hobbies include coding, watching anime, hanging out with friends, and baking.
Lauren Lau - Recording Secretary
Hi, my name is Lauren Lau and I will be the Recording Secretary during the 2024-2025 Assisteens year. I am a senior at Villa Park High School and have been a member of Assisteens since seventh grade. Some of my hobbies are watercolor painting, music, and hiking. I'm excited for this year with Assisteens! Lauren Lau
Amrita Gala - Parliamentarian
Hi! My name is Amrita and I will be this year's parliamentarian! I have been a member of assisteens since 2019 and have had such a great time being a part of this organization. Currently I am a senior at Fairmont Preparatory Academy and I am a part of my school's ASB and cheer team. Outside of school, I love watching movies and making short films! I can't wait for another great year of assisteens!
Declan Yoo - Secretary
Hello! My name is Declan Yoo and I will be serving as the Secretary for the 2024-2025 Assisteens year. I have enjoyed volunteering and serving the community through Assisteens since 8th grade. I am a freshman at Sunny Hills High School and part of the cross country and track and field team while being included in the clubs of Speech and Debate, American Red Cross, and California Association of Student Councils. Aside from school, I participate in Boy Scouts of America with my hobbies consisting of camping, hiking, and cooking. I am eager to serve on the board and having a wonderful year at Assisteens of Anaheim!
Ryan Patel - Media Chair
Hi! My name is Ryan Patel, and I am a junior at El Dorado High School. I play high school and club volleyball. I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing video games, and going to the beach. I have been an Assisteens member since 7th grade and am very excited to serve as Media Chair for the 2024-2025 year!
