The Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) has collected thousands of oblique coronal T2-weighted MRI scans, with multiple time points per participant. This dataset is an excellent resource for testing hypotheses involving effects of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias on hippocampal subfields and MTL subregions.
This page describes how to access these scans, quality assessments (QA), and automated segmentations of MTL subregions generated using ASHS data from ADNI. These instructions assume that you have registered for access to ADNI data.
These T2-weighted images have been examined and assigned a QA score by the ADNI researchers at the PICSL Group at the University of Pennsylvania. The scans were then processed using ASHS with the "PMC Clinical" Atlas.
