The easiest way to try out ASHS with an existing atlas is through a new web-based system. Your images will be sent, anonymized and encrypted, to a secure server and processed on a Linux cluster at the Penn Image Computing and Science Laboratory (PICSL) at the University of Pennsylvania. This service is currently provided for free.
The easiest way to run ASHS is using the graphical user interface (GUI) in ITK-SNAP. With just a few clicks you can send your image datasets to the server for processing. Follow one of the tutorials below, depending on what kind of MRI data you are interested in segmenting:

For large projects, please install ASHS locally - our server is currently set up to handle only a moderate number of requests.
