Ashlynn Delias pioneered her university paper, The Megaphone. She was a staff writer in 2021, then was quickly promoted to Lifestyle Editor, then Assistant EIC after sudden circumstance changes, and was promoted to EIC by April 2023. When she entered the role, there were only 4 organization members--all staff writers. By September 2024 she employed and trained 30 staff writers/photographers and had invested in and created an editorial team of 4 editors, 2 executive photographers, and 2 media managers. 

She planned several print launch events, reinstituted newspaper advertising, and continued to train the editors to take over managerial positions. 

She did media coverage and employed her writers/photographers at high-level events such as the Two Step Inn in Georgetown, TX, SXSW in Austin, and the Texas Tribune Festival.

By the end of her Megaphone career, she earned Associated Collegiate Press Best in Show 10th Place Website at the ACP conference in March 2024. Upon graduation, she continued to mentor the paper by editing high-risk articles and attending meetings as a guest speaker.
