Kubik is a game that follows the adventure of a little rat trying to find his way out of a maze. But it is no ordinary maze, as the rooms of the labyrinth move and rotate to make sure the rat stays right where it belongs. However, this change is not only a threat but also an opportunity for our little rodent, as it will allow him to reach the keys he needs to get out of this concrete hell. In Kubik, get lost over and over again before you can find the exit.Â
On KubiK, I was tasked with gameplay programming. Using Unreal Engine 5's visual scripting langage, I made the player and camera controllers, the AI of the enemies, level transitions management and added full controller support.
I also took part in the creation of this short gameplay trailer using DaVinci Resolve, and created the game's logo using Adobe Photoshop.
