Background: This is a trifold brochure for a high school theatre summer camp held at a university. The image on the left is the outside of the brochure while the image on the right in the inside.

Design:

• Contrast: I used black text to contrast against the light green of the background, as well as a darker green on the background to create the logo.

• Repetition: The logo is repeated throughout the brochure. The use of triangles is also used to create unit throughout the brochure.

• Alignment: I use a mix of alignments with using left, center, and right alignments on the different folds of the brochure.

• Proximity: I placed the camp logo above the young man in the cover. This creates the feeling that he is reaching for the camp. I also use the triangles on the inside right panel to create movement. As you open the panel open the green triangle creates an arrow. The logo on the back points to the pricing information.

• Color: I use green, black, and white because those are the logo colors for this camp. These colors are repeated on the shirts that all participants will receive when they arrive. This allows the brochure to

• Type: AR BONNIE, Corbel

Revisions: In my first iteration I used the type face AR BONNIE more which made the text difficult to read. The colors also were darker. By changing the font and brightening up the image the end result was much easier to read.
