The Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate at Michigan State University is an experience designed to engage students in computational approaches to research and community engagement initiatives. Through different experiences and courses, students learn about digital humanities methods and theories as well as build a project that involves collaboration and active engagement.
I became interested in the DH Certificate because other colleagues of mine in LEADR had participated in the experience. I was also interested because my research focuses on historical photography, cultural heritage, community memory, and digital work.
