Deliveries or Contractor Access can be delivered direct to the door of the building if they are being delivered by a named courier or business (e.g. Yodel, Amazing, Tesco etc.). Note that private cars are not allowed on the podium, which can sometimes affect small contractors such as plumbers.
This access is provided by arsenal security between the hours of 7am and 9pm on all days other than for home game days/concerts (see Match Days on how to find out when these are). Residents should be aware that deliveries may be delayed around 8pm due to shift changes, so it is best not to book specific timed deliveries at that time, and if deliveries are known to be after 5:30 Arsenal would appreciate if this is communicated with the booking.
Deliveries can be booked up to the day before the delivery is due, and this should be done via the ashburton triangle concierge team in person, your intercom or via Ashburtontriangle.Concierge@newlon.org.uk or 02073547392.
Deliveries should report to the arsenal stadium entrance half way down Queensland Road (at the bottom of the ramp on the left) before being directed to the ramp to access the podium. After which they should park in the delivery bays next to the concierge office.
On rare occasions access to ashburton triangle for residents via the basement of the stadium can be arranged, but this is at the discretion of stadium management and would only be for temporary reasons for which there is no other solution. To discuss this please contact the concierge.
The concierge's role is not to take parcels (they are there for security, management and fire purposes). Therefore your parcels should be delivered when you are in to receive them. The current situation of parcels being left in the entrance lobby is not a formal arrangement, but we are working with Newlon to agree an improved and official strategy on this.
Q: Why do I need to book in advance?
A: Arsenal stadium management deal with hundreds of deliveries per day, and need to organise their staffing to accommodate deliveries to ashburton triangle. This also gives them the opportunity to inform residents where a delivery does not fit within the delivery policy. It is worth noting that Arsenal stadium management also have to book in deliveries with their delivery team, so this is not something unique to residents.
Q: What if I forget?
A: Contacting the concierge before a delivery has arrived and asking them to tell the arsenal security may mean that it can be added to that day’s list. Arsenal (and the concierge) will reserve the right to refuse this for people who do this repeatedly as if everyone called up on the day they wouldn’t be able to predict any workload.
Q: Why can I not get a delivery on a match day even if the match is in the evening?
A: Match-days are when the stadium management team are typically busy dealing with preparation for the match, which will include a dramatic increase in deliveries to the stadium and security preparations. Whilst the podium may seem quiet the morning of games, the rest of the stadium is very busy, and deliveries to ashburton triangle take quite a lot of management and monitoring. Stadium management also find it impossible to get non-match related deliveries on those days.
Q: I’m unsure when my delivery will arrive. What should I do?
A: It’s possible to book multiple days if unsure (and within reason) but if the delivery arrives outside of the allowable hours then it will not be possible for the driver to access the podium.
Q: My parcel is being delivered by Amazon/Royal Mail/Evri etc. which deliver lots of parcels to the building. Do I still need to book?
A: Royal Mail does not need booking. For others, many couriers prefer to take deliveries by foot from drayton park for speed, but would need booking in if they need vehicle access.
