Students can book their own appointments via Bookings.
Bookings pulls availability from your Outlook calendar, so keep it up to date when you will be available for appointments versus not.
When a student books with you, it will automatically pop up on your Outlook calendar.
Students can reschedule or cancel their appointments via the confirmation email they recieve when booking.
You can also make these changes via the administrative side of Bookings.
It is recommended that you reserve a few hours per week on your calendar specifically for "walk-in" or "drop-in" hours.
These set aside hours are a time for your students to stop by as needed for quick questions and problem solving.
It is not advised to hold full advising sessions (planning for registration, etc.) during walk-in hours, as these can be time consuming and take away from other students in need of walk-in hour time.
