Examples of leadership on our trip to Kansas City:

Our group collaborated together to create an efficient service trip that would benefit as many people possible. Such instances of group collaboration and individual leadership follows:

• At Harvester's Food Pantry several service trip members organized an assembly line to move canned food to boxes in a much faster and efficient way.
• Service trip member Anna Kareis took charge of the group during our last day at Avenue of Life. She organized a more efficient way to move food so we were able to complete the task on time.
• For teambuilding - Kristin made pillowcases for the whole group, and we had Hawkeye flags for the cars on the road trip.

• During the community breakfast at the church we stayed at, each and every group member pitched in to ensure that the community members that came for breakfast received their toast, oatmeal, or pastry.

In the Future:

We can all use the examples of team building and efficiency to help lead groups we work with in the future.
