1 Kings 17,18,19 and 20
Fact: 1 Kings 19:15-17 15The Lord said to him, "Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram.16Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet.17Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.
Insight: The Lord knows the way and has our destiny in His hands. The Lord's purpose in our lives must be fulfilled despite our circumstances. The Lord has time in His hands, He determines when and how everything will happen.
Deed: I commit to be patient and wait on the Lord even when things are not going at my speed. So, Help me God

1 Kings 21,22 and 2 Kings1 and 2
Fact: 1 Kings 22:43a In everything he walked in the ways of his father Asa and did not stray from them; he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord ; 53He served and worshiped Baal and
provoked the Lord , the God of Israel, to anger, just as his father had done.
Insight: Fathers play a big role in who their sons will become. What fathers do today will affect what their sons do tomorrow. In regard to Worship of God fathers should be deliberate to serve God passionately, because their sons will do exactly that.
Deed: I commit to Serve God faithfully and influence my sons and daughter to follow suit. So, Help me God

2Kings 3,4,5 and 6
Fact: 2 Kings 4: 2 Elisha replied to her, "How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?" "Your servant has nothing there at all," she said, "except a little oil.";6-7 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another one." But he replied, "There is not a jar left." Then the oil stopped flowing. She went and told the man of God, and he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left."
Insight: The Lord uses what we already have as a solution to our problems; Even when we pray for a miracle from the Lord, He may give us a responsibility to access the miracle – sell the oil and pay.
Deed: I commit to Play my role, to be diligent and obedient, even as I seek my miracle from the Lord. So, Help me God.
Day128: 04 June 2024
2Kings 7,8,9 and 10
Fact: 2 Kings 10: 28-31 So Jehu destroyed Baal worship in Israel. 29However, he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit the worship of the golden calves at Bethel and Dan. 30The Lord said to Jehu, "Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation." 31Yet Jehu was not careful to keep the law of the Lord , the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit.
Insight: Partial Obedience is not obedience. God desires total commitment to Him. Partial obedience confuses Gods people especially when executed by a leader.
Deed: I commit to Obey God fully, not to keep a portion of His word, but God's will. So, Help me God.

2Kings 15,16,17 and 18
Fact: 2 Kings 18: 4-6 He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it. (It was called Nehushtan.) 5Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. 6He held fast to the Lord and did not cease to follow him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses.
Insight: Even in an evil word the Lord can raise men wholly given to Him, who will hate evil and destroy it with His help. The Lord always preserves a remnant for Himself.
Deed: I commit to Worship God alone even in a perverted society. To follow His word and Obey His Commands. So, Help me God.

2Kings 19,20,21 and 22
Fact: 2 Kings 22: 8-11Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, I have found the book of the Law in the temple of the Lord." He gave to Shaphan, who read it. 9 Then Shaphan the secretary went to the king and reported to him: our officials have paid out the money that was in the temple of the Lord and have entrusted it to the workers and supervisors at the temple."10Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king. 11When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his robes.
Insight: The word of God has power to transform and change men. The word of God Convicts men of their Sin and draws them to God in repentance.
Deed: I commit to Obey God’s word and allow it to change my Character, attitudes - daily living. So, Help me God.

2Kings 23,24,25 and 1 Choronicles1
Fact: 2 Kings 23: 24 Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the temple of the Lord. 25Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the Lord as he did-with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.
Insight: Following the written word of God has a lot of Impact that can change even the course of a Nation. Obedience to God’s word can restore a family and a Nation whose fore fathers had errored. It will always go well with a Man who sets to follow and Obey God’s word.
Deed: I commit to Obey God’s word and do things differently from what, my fore fathers did, in accordance to God’s word. So, Help me God.

Fact: 1 Chronicles 4: 9-10 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, "I gave birth to him in pain." 10Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.
Insight: Prayer and Trust in God can change the course of one’s life for the good. We have the power to change the course of our lives through God’s word and communion with Him.
Deed: I commit to Pray and Seek God’s will and to petition Him for my life and my generations to be godly. So, Help me God

1 Chronicles6,7,8 and 9
Fact: 1 Chronicles 6: 30-32 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son and Asaiah his son. The Temple Musicians 31These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the Lord after the ark came to rest there. 32They ministered with music before the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, until Solomon built the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem. They performed their duties according to the regulations laid down for them.
Insight: Ministry has regulations that must be adhered to for effectiveness. Ministers must serve as per regulations to Keep the testimony of the Church pure and without blemish.
Deed: I commit to minister in the house of God Keeping all the regulations and instructions given by those ahead of me. So, Help me God.

1 Chronicles 10,11,12 and 13
Fact: 1 Chronicles 10: 13-14 Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance,14and did not inquire of the Lord. So, the Lord put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David, son of Jesse.
Insight: All that we have is given to us by God, we must therefore be loyal to Him alone. The Lord desires to direct us in decision making, it is important to rely on His direction – inquire of the Lord. David succeeded because he inquired of the Lord.
Deed: I commit to Inquire of the Lord in my daily living, to seek to understand Him and hear Him daily. So, Help me God.
Day136: 12 June 2024;
1 Chronicles 14,15,16 and 17
Fact: 1 Chronicles 15: 13 It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way."
Insight: God delights in the Obedience to His word and punishes disobedience. It is important to seek God’s guidance in all maters of life and not according to experience, for God can punish disobedience.
Deed: I commit to Inquire of the Lord in my daily living, to seek to understand Him and hear Him daily. So, Help me God.

1 Chronicles 18,19,20 and 21
Fact: 1 Chronicles 21: 24 But King David replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not take for the Lord what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing."
Insight: Our passion towards God should be such that we are sold to Him wholly, that we are willing to sacrifice to him, and not just any sacrifice, but a costly sacrifice.
Deed: I commit to grow my passion towards the Lord that my sacrifices to Him will be costly Knowing that He is interested in my obedience more than the costly sacrifices. So, Help me God.
Day138: 14 June 2024
1 Chronicles 22,23,24 and 25
Fact: 1 Chronicles 22: 14"I have taken great pains to provide for the temple of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, quantities of bronze and iron too great to be weighed, and wood and stone. And you may add to them
Insight: When our love for God is selfless, our sacrifices are great and immeasurable! It may even be painful but fulfilling, it is an overflow of the great promises the Lord has for us now and the future.
Deed: I commit to Love the Lord with all my heart, soul and body and wealth and all I have, and that I will not struggle to give to God’s work. So, Help me God.

1 Chronicles 26,27,28 and 29
Fact: 1 Chronicles 28: 19"All this," David said, "I have in writing from the hand of the Lord upon me, and he gave me understanding in all the details of the plan."
Insight: The Lord can reveal to us all things, including the designs of physical structures, He is the creator of all things and is willing to reveal to us. We however need to be devoted to Him as David His servant was.
Deed: I commit to be devoted to God, to have understanding of things, that come from the hand of the Lord. So, Help me God.
Day140: 16 June 2024
2 Chronicles 1,2,3 and 4
Fact: 2 Chronicles 2: 13"I am sending you Huram-Abi, a man of great skill, 14whose mother was from Dan and whose father was from Tyre. He is trained to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, and with purple and blue and crimson yarn and fine linen. He is experienced in all kinds of engraving and can execute any design given to him. He will work with your craftsmen and with those of my Lord, David your father.
Insight: If you are excellent in skill and have great experience doing excellent work, even Kings will look for you because they need excellent work. Great skill comes with training and amazing work comes from exercising the training via experience on real work.
Deed: I commit to be diligent in my craft and career, to do excellent and honest work. So, Help me God.
Day142: 18 June 2024
2 Chronicles 9,10,11 and 12
Fact: 2 Chronicles 10: 8 But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him.
Insight: Wisdom comes with age; Elders will usually have experience and wise council out of the many days of serving God. Rejecting their advice for any other that is not from God may be detrimental.
Deed: I commit to seek advice from Elders that God has provided around me. So, Help me God.

2 Chronicles 13,14,15 and 16
Fact: 2 Chronicles 16: 7-8 At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him: "Because you relied on the king of Aram and not on the Lord your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand. 8Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen? Yet when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand; 16:12b Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians.
Insight: Inconsistency in serving God could lead to self-reliance and look warmness which God hates. The Lord delights in people who serve him and rely on Him alone; No experience can exempt God’s operation in one’s life. We need God always.
Deed: I commit to rely on God and inquire of Him always even when facing familiar circumstances. So, Help me God.

2 Chronicles 17,18,19 and 20
Fact: 2 Chronicles 19: 2-3 Jehu the seer, the son of Hanani, went out to meet him and said to the king, "Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this, the wrath of the Lord is upon you. 3There is, however, some good in you, for you have rid the land of the Asherah poles and have set your heart on seeking God."
Insight: God’s expectation of us is that we will love what He loves and hate what He hates, Because the goal is to become like him; Association with those who hate Him is betrayal and disobedience.
Deed: I commit to loyal in my relationship with God and to keep fidelity to His word in my daily living. So, Help me God.
Day145: 21 June 2024
2 Chronicles 21,22,23 and 24
Fact: 2 Chronicles 24: 4-6 Sometime later Joash decided to restore the temple of the Lord. 5He called together the priests and Levites and said to them, "Go to the towns of Judah and collect the money due annually from all Israel, to repair the temple of your God. Do it now." But the Levites did not act at once. 6Therefore the king summoned Jehoiada the chief priest and said to him, "Why haven't you required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by Moses the servant of the Lord and by the assembly of Israel for the Tent of the Testimony?"
Insight: God’s work requires funds, and He invites us to participate in the work by giving; It is we the people at the end of the day who benefit from our giving to God’s work, we get good places to sit while we worship in church, among other benefits.
Deed: I commit to give to God’s work willingly. So, Help me God.

Fact: 2 Chronicles 27: 6Jotham grew powerful because he walked steadfastly before the Lord his God.
Insight: Diligence in walking right with God has a guarantee of success and prosperity.
Deed: I commit to walk right with the lord and to live according to His word that I read daily. So, Help me God.
Day147: 23 June 2024
2 Chronicles 29,30,31 and 32
Fact: 2 Chronicles 32: 20-22 King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this. 21And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the leaders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So, he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple of his god, some of his sons cut him down with the sword. 22So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.
Insight: God hears prayer, there is nothing impossible with Him. Even in the midst of danger we should brace ourselves and courageously pray to God, He hears and will answer in His way, usually His way is perfect and works for our good.
Deed: I commit to pray and rely on God even when in danger. So, Help me God
Day148: 24 June 2024
2 Chronicles 33,34,35 and 36
Fact: 2 Chronicles 33: 12-13 In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. 13And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so, he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.
Insight: God is a merciful God, even when He is punishing us His love is usually alive and will listen to our cry. He punishes our disobedience but still loves us especially when our hearts are truly repentant.
Deed: I commit to obey God through His word and to seek Him when in distress. So, Help me God.

Ezra 1,2,3 and 4
Fact: Ezra 1: 2"This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: " 'The Lord , the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah.
Insight: When God’s time is ripe, whatever He had planned to do will be executed. He has the power to cause men to look favorably at his people in order to fulfill His word. Nothing is impossible with God.
Deed: I commit to believe and take God at His word, that what He promised, He will fulfill. So, Help me God.
Day150: 26June 2024
Ezra 5,6,7 and 8
Fact: Ezra 8: 21-23There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions. 22I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, "The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him." 23So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer
Insight: We should be confident to share God’s word and testimonies of his deed. God hears prayer, when at cross roads we should pray, when making a decision we should pray, when making a journey we should pray.
Deed: I commit to declare God’s deeds to those around me, and to pray to Him to fulfill the deeds. So, Help me God.

Ezra 9,10and Nehemiah 1 and 2
Fact: Nehemiah 1: 9 but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.'
Insight: God keeps His word. Our Prayer should be filled with His word – reminding Him of His promises. We need to pray His word to Him, because He keeps His word.
Deed: I commit to read and understand God’s word that I may be an effective intercessor. So, Help me God.
Day152: 28June 2024
Nehemiah 3,4,5 and 6
Fact: Nehemiah 6: 10-12 One day I went to the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was shut in at his home. He said, "Let us meet in the house of God, inside the temple, and let us close the temple doors, because men are coming to kill you-by night they are coming to kill you." 11But I said, "Should a man like me run away? Or should one like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!" 12 I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
Insight: Even in the middle of anxiety and danger, we need to be fully alert in the Spirit to discern what is of God. In such an environment of anxiety, one may be in a hurry to decide on what looks safe humanly speaking, however the Lord will always deposit the right way in our Spirit if we are calm and focused to Him.
Deed: I commit to always be calm and focused on God in the midst of anxiety. So, Help me God.

Nehemiah 7,8,9 and 10
Fact: Nehemiah 8: 1and 3 all the people assembled as one man in the square before the Water Gate. They told Ezra the scribe to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded for Israel. 3 He read it aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate in the presence of the men, women and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.
Insight: The word of God brings transformation in people and in Nations. The word of God restores a people and brings order. The word of God should have a place in the affairs of people even in the public, because it has the solutions of life.
Deed: I commit to read Gods word and allow it govern my life. So, Help me God.
Day154: 30June 2024
Nehemiah 11,12,13 and Esther 1
Fact: Nehemiah 13: 10-11 I also learned that the portions assigned to the Levites had not been given to them, and that all the Levites and singers responsible for the service had gone back to their own fields. 11 So I rebuked the officials and asked them, "Why is the house of God neglected?" Then I called them together and stationed them at their posts.
Insight: The people who serve in church should be facilitated in order to dedicate their service to God without concern of their other needs, this way the church will remain vibrant and God’s people will remain reminded of His ordinances by the dedicated servants.
Deed: I commit to support church ministers in their work in all ways within my means. So, Help me God.
