Remark: Most of Muslim will argue that VEDA has supremacy over Bhagavad Gita and there are contradictions between VEDAS and Bhagavad Gita . If both comes from same God how there is any difference between VEDA and BG
Answer1:
Hare Krsna Prabhuji,
PAMHO.
Pls give the question here, unable to access the link.
What I know is vedas say this, vedas also say that... therefore one can comfortably take whatever suits and still claim to follow the vedas. Effectively that means that there is contradiction within the vedas itself.
Even Upanishads are divided into the 3 modes, 6 are in the mode of goodness, 6 in the mode of passion and 6 in the mode of ignorance.
Gita is the vani of God Himself, therefore it is given so much importance. Bhagavatam is the essence or summary of the vedas and upanishads. It is talking of God, whereas Gita is talk by God. Thats why both are important.
Haribol,
Your servant.
Answer2:
Hare Krsna Mataji
Well said!
I have gone through the link and there is not much to it. Mostly juggling of words.
Moreover there is no parallel to Bhagavad Gita. It is unique.
Krsna Himself says those who are attracted to the flowery words of the Vedas, fruitive activities and resultant power and so forth claim there is nothing more.
Srimad Bhagavatam is the authorized commentary on the Vedanta Sutra by the same author.
Answer3:
Hare Krishna
The Muslims are picking some verses from the Vedas and completely misquoting them on purpose so they can convert the Hindus. They cannot find any verses from the Bhagavad-Gita to misquote because the Bhagavad-Gita is very clear.
Don't listen to the Yavanas and Mlecchas, Only listen to Vedic Gurus/Swamis.
"Those who are devotees of other gods and who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way. I am the only enjoyer and master of all sacrifices. Therefore, those who do not recognize My true transcendental nature fall down." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.23-24)
"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.66)
“Fools deride Me when I descend in the human form. They do not know My transcendental nature as the Supreme Lord of all that be." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.11)
"Cow-killers are condemned to rot in hellish life for as many thousands of years as there are hairs on the body of the cow." (Lord Caitanya, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Adi-Lila 17.166)
"If a cow is consciously killed, there is no penance that is adequate." (Kurma Purana, 12.30 Rituals)

Answer4:
Hare Krsna Kamlesh Patel
We are here to advance in Krsna Consciousness. Not to speak against any community. God is neither Hindu nor Muslim or Christian etc.
Nor are we to be considered Hindu, Moslem or Christian.
These are bodily designations as emphasized by Srila Prabhupada.
Answer5:
Hare Krishna Zola Preetam.
Most likely you do not know what is going on out there in the real world. The Muslims are completely misinterpreting some verses from the Vedas and saying God is formless and thus the Vedic followers should only worship Allah and only follow Islam and only accept Muhammad as the last Prophet of God. Thus based on the Muslims, Srila Prabhupada should be rejected and Krishna should not be worshipped, he was not God.
Srila Prabupada would not accept this kind of non-sense from anyone. As a follower of Srila Prabhupada, Sanatan-Dharma, and Lord Krishna. I have to tell the truth and alert others on the reality.
The Muslims are trying to get the Vedic followers to accept the Vedas based on their false interpretations and reject the Bhagavad-Gita, because they cannot misinterpret any verses from the Bhagavad-Gita to promote their religion, thus they cannot banish Krishna as God based on the Bhagavad-Gita. The Bhagavad-Gita is too clear on the fact that Lord Krishna is the only God and He has a form that is spiritual and transcendental.
"Whoever knows Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, without doubting, is to be understood as the knower of everything, and He therefore engages himself in full devotional service, O son of Bharata." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.19)
"The whole cosmic order is under Me. By My will it is manifested again and again, and by My will it is annihilated at the end." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 9.8)
"Furthermore, O Arjuna, I am the generating seed of all existences. There is no being--moving or unmoving--that can exist without Me." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 10.39)
Answer6:
Hare Krishna Kamlesh Jee
All Glories to Srila Prabhupad ! I am agree with you. Muslims are creating internet forums , Doing neighbourhood classes on the similarities between VEDA and ISLAM with an intention to attract Hindus inculding Vashinavs towards ISLAM. Now it is not that we want to fight with them or distrub them but we must be equipped to tell them (Through Shastrath discussion) that all the Four Vedas tells nothing but Krsna. They say Simiriti and Upanishads has no value? Now days whenever a muslim brother will ask me why you follow Gita and why not Veda I answer him according to his knowledge and understanding of things by saying that Lord Krishna is our last Prophet who gave us Bhagavad Gita and in Which he says that He is source of all Jiva (Char or Achar) and Supreme God . That is why I asked if there is any commentary written by a Vaishnav that proves that Vedas only telling about Lord Krishna and nothing else .... Hari bol
Answer7:
"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear." (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.66)
Its not abandoning religion. Lord says, leave all the doubts about what dharma is and what is adharma. Just surrender to me.
It is true that Bhagavad Gita is above Vedas.
Those who are devotees of other gods and who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way...
Other Gods here also includes the Hindu demigods. Not just other religion Gods. The Lord says, people worship other Gods to satisfy their worldly desires. And according to Krishna, it is a wrong way of worship. You should worship the Gods and ask them to make your faith steady in Krishna. Any other materialistic desires is wrong.
Answer8:
Hare Krishna
The Last Words of God
Just 500 hundred years ago, Lord Krishna again appeared in the form of Lord Caitanya and He once again very clearly proved that He was God and stated that Lord Krishna is the only God and only He should be worshipped.
Lord Caitanya's message for humanity is to study and follow the Vedic scriptures especially the Bhagavad-Gita and thus:
"Lord Caitanya is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna Himself, full with six opulences. He is the Absolute Truth, and no other truth is greater than or equal to Him." (Caitanya-caritmrta Adi-Lila 1.3)

Answer9:
There are no contradictions, there is no difference. Only thing is that Krishna has gone a little straight forward in the Bhagavadgita.
About the Muslims arguing. They pick phrases from here and there which sound contradicting thats all. A little research and a clear mind should do the work. A few topics they talk on are about idol worship, veg and meat, following one god and Mohammed being mentioned in the vedas.
One of the reference given was rig veda book number 20 verse number 21. One of the leaders said the prophet is mentioned and is mentioned in so many other texts. When I checked the hymns were about Indra :/
So please ignore what others say and follow your self which will lead you to the Gita.
Hare Krishna.
